if I remember right, for kitty and storm you need to invade his office and take something there that would let you threaten him, and the others you need to level them up to a point they follow the "plan" you tell them about when confronting him.
I think the main problem is that 1- you can already have sex scenes even if without the art, if she is the one to start them, which is kind of an issue for most (better have nothing yet than have it with no art to enjoy), 2- as the mod to add them shows, there is already art in there (the mod just makes it appear), even if it is just recicled poses of others with her head for now, and 3- taking the other two in consideration, he still declared it will be months before she is added, even though, as mentioned, she is practically in an useable state.

Comparing OniArtist to someone like MrZed really shows the dramatic difference in work ethic and passion between some indie developers (ESPECIALLY porn game developers):
- MrZed makes around $5000 a month and has two casual part-time helpers.
- Oni makes around $10,000 a month and does everything himself (refusing outside help).
- MrZed has decent updates every month and is open and consistent, often asking for input from people and actually listening to them.
- Oni has tiny updates every 3-4 months and doesn't care too much what people say or want. Consistently minimum effort on his part.
- MrZed's games are more complex to make overall than Oni's game as well. I can't wait until MrZed's next planned project launches; I'm happy to support him while Oni I wouldn't give a cent to.
- MrZed actually finishes his games within 2 years after initial launch while Oni has been making this game for over 5 years to my knowledge.
I know I'm comparing extremes here but still.

You might have a fair point there but I believe MrZed made the models and animations himself or with his helpers. I'm open to being corrected if I'm wrong though. I remember seeing how rough his modelling and textures were back when he was just getting started with game development.
it is usually quite easy to see if a 3d model is specifically made or not. most of them are from one of three sources:
daz 3d: a "more realistic", usually glass-eyed model that is very common in poorly-made games, gives me the creeps really, mostly play games with this one for any lore because I have low hopes for sexiness
Honey Select 2/i Shoujo (same style, and same creators really): a slightly less realistic but still real-based, and thus better because it does not reach the uncanny valley
Koikatsu: anime style, less popular but I personally think ends up better

First time heard of this Mr Zed, checked his patreon, interesting games but not comparable to RLE. Looks like there's another very big difference with the devs (at least for me), Oni asks for 1 bucks, Mr Zed asks for 5 bucks, correct me if I'm wrong.

Also a fair point. Oni currently has 5673 patrons as of this post while MrZed has 882 patrons. There's no comparison in terms of popularity for sure. Admittedly I refuse to pay more than $10 a month to ANY patreon page regardless of what they're offering (and even $10 is pushing it for sure).
Maybe you're right that MrZed and his helpers make the models. I'm just judging from what I could find here, and they look kind of generic.
