I have a feeling that Oni follows my view on this kind of thing:
He's doing this for himself, not really anyone else. He's putting it out there in case anyone else is interested, but that isn't the main point of the exercise.
If you also like it, well cool. If you want to give them a little money on Patreon, also cool. If you want to give suggestions, he will take it under advisement.
But if you start to think that you have an actual say in what he is doing with his game... well, you don't.
And if you don't like what he's done with his game, too bad, he isn't doing it for you anyway.
And if you think because you gave him a little money you now own him and he must do what you say... grow up, that isn't how the world works.
