How? It's the game with a console that you can unlock with both mods and unren, or whatever that thing we use for this game was.

I have a feeling that Oni follows my view on this kind of thing:
He's doing this for himself, not really anyone else. He's putting it out there in case anyone else is interested, but that isn't the main point of the exercise.
If you also like it, well cool. If you want to give them a little money on Patreon, also cool. If you want to give suggestions, he will take it under advisement.
But if you start to think that you have an actual say in what he is doing with his game... well, you don't.
And if you don't like what he's done with his game, too bad, he isn't doing it for you anyway.
And if you think because you gave him a little money you now own him and he must do what you say... grow up, that isn't how the world works.

For Patreon, you are entitled to what they offer for their Patreon tiers, and nothing more. Just as with any other business arrangement.

I think Oni is invested in developing Rogue-Like Evolution and crowdfunding is a good business model.
