You're sure you're using the links on the front page? I did it with MEGA this morning and it was golden for me. If this happens again, then I can direct you somewhere else to get the update since I'm not really someone who's good with this stuff.

I tried every link.I'm even trying to get a screenshot right now for proof... but I thing I messed up.

In that case, try and unzip the game again on top of the folder and let it replace all the old files. If that doesn't work, then you might just have to wait until there's a less buggy version of the game available. Or get the modded version that was worked on, that works too. This worked for me when I got a similar error for the game Ashford Academy, and I just had to overwrite my files a couple times (like 2-3 times) before it started to work, without mods too.

However, I will take your word and assume that these links still don't work for you. Try going to SVSComics. If I'm not mistaken, this site uploads first and then SVS is updated. I saw the 0.980 version there too, but it will take longer seeing as most of the files do take time to download from there. Otherwise, I'm not sure. Maybe poke around for another site to download from if this site doesn't work either.

Update your winrar, 7-zip.

Open up for the first time, click "start game" and exception.

Have you played the MOD version of the game? Because if yes, its uses the same SAVE folder in the AppData/RenPy location. Delete it (or move so this unmoded game could creat a clean save folder) and try.

If you tried SVS before coming here, then I'm not quite sure what else we could do to solve this issue without getting a mod to try and take a look at either the links or what the issue is on your end. Sorry.

I'm hit with an error everytime i catch Emma masterbaiting.

Ok, as described in the patch notes, this build will likely be buggy, so only download this one if you enjoy bug testing and don't mind if it crashes a few minutes into the new content. Just let me know how you got to that point, and I'll fix it for the next build.

For those new to the bug testing process here, if the game crashes, post here the resulting text, up to the point where it says "full traceback." The part after that is only very rarely necessary for me tracking down the bug and takes up a lot of space so don't worry about it. In some cases it helps for me to know the process you took to get to that point, like which order you did things in, I'll ask if I need that sort of info. Also feel free to message me if you'd rather not post here.

it happens to me every so often when dealing with rar'ed files, randomly with no real reason, happened with this one too, if it was a zip or 7z no problems ever just in the rar form but i think it is a problem with windows rather than the actual rar file

How is this game not getting more attention? It has everything you'd want from the genre. I only encountered one bug and thats when you take Emma for Dinner&Cinema after the event you take her home at which point she acts like you are in her room, but with the fountain/park in the background, the next morning she gets Kitty's events and dialog, but with her sprite and name in the text bubble - which also makes it possible to fool around in public, as long as it is not sex, which leads to crash

Just found the game since it popped in updates.. need advice. Downloaded this new update..but saw a mod.. can I use this mod for the extra stuff with this ? and if so which should I get? the vanilla game .978 one with the mod? then only use the mod? Just dont want to waste time.
