Just discovered this game. Out of curiosity has the Dev mentioned which characters that he plans on bringing in future updates? Psylocke, Mystique, Scarlet Witch, for example.

Hotkeys aren't set up, but you can quicksave/load from a menu on the bottom of the screen

Possibly, in 2027, given how often a new character gets added. And, as much as I'd rather have Wanda, I'm sure that Squirrel Girl will be voted in next.
