Hmmm, Gwenpool could be a funny change of pace but it could also look awkward to have her super-aware of the mechanics and it being game which could ruin the fun.
Looks like several votes came in again, seeing Storm in the lead by 18 votes. We'll see how she goes in the last day.

Squirrel Girl was actualy pretty sexy for a long time, she's a much older character than you'd think with her awful autistic rebranding.

Actually, I think this vote was set-up in Gwen's favor. In a run-off between Ororo and Gwen, Gwen would be soundly defeated by Ororo (By how much did Jean defeat Gwen in their run-off again?), because, at least how I see it, most people who want Jubilee, Wanda and Lorna, likely also want Storm, because they all are X-Men characters.
So, by doing this the decisive poll, Oni divided the X-Men voting fans in 4 while those who want Gwen stay united. To be honest, if Storm wins this time, I'm almost sure the next winner will be Gwenpool, because between Jubilee, Wanda and Lorna there's parity and they will divide between themselves most of Storm's votes. Unless, the next candidate that Oni adds is another very popular character whom the X-Men fans can unite behind, maybe Psylocke or someone else...

I went to bed early last night and just as I dozed off i realized that I'd forgotten to post another poll update, but here's an update for anyone wondering. Ten votes are all the separate Storm and Gwen. I'll try to post another update when there's 20ish minutes remaining.
