Of course it is not an official method that everyone uses. That would be absurd.
But it is the common convention, used to avoid issues like... exactly what we are having here.
Using that method, everyone would get a proper idea of how much was added, changed, fixed etc from one version to the next.
Similar to snake_case and camelCase, and the less used PascalCase: you don't need to follow any of these for your variables, but it will make it difficult for anyone else to deal with your code in the future, including sometimes "future you".
And unless you are saying Oni is working with a top tier company in this to give him a different guideline, following the common convention is the best practice.
As shown by how it is already numbered 0.999e, and we all know there were far from 999 versions even if you count the letters

I've been in contact with Ron as of 2 weeks ago. He's still (at least per him) working on his standalone game with the new art.
He's trying to integrate the Animation, at the moment, as well as finalize the backgrounds.
So, there is hope!

I genuinely hope you're right and I'd be willing to support the project once I see some results.
There are 7-8 girls now(or at least thats the number I was able to unlock) and each girl has her own sex positions and a few events.
As for if this is worth playing, it depends on your taste ;p

You've gone too deep into the folder. You should be running the .exe from 2 levels up from there in Rogue-Like-0.999e-win
So basically : hit "back" twice
Also, for what it's worth, you've got some ???? characters in your filepath there. I assume that probably isn't helping and is caused by what I assume are Asian characters in your drive name or something.
Why do you have Rogue-Like-0.999e-win INSIDE a folder called Rogue-Like-0.999e-win??

some of the girls cant stand each other.
the question marks in the path make it seem the program cant read non-unicode characters. considering you've got thai(?) in your tabs, you should try to put the game somewhere else.

One factor I've noticed for the girls prior to jubilee was that they had pretty much all their sex acts within 2-3 versions apart so for Jubilee she by now should have all content including footjob yet still says not available but in next/future update....
