I was hoping for either Psylocke, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, or both. That's what happens when I get my hopes up. So, I guess we're stuck with Wanda in 2023 and Gwen in 2024. They're good in the sack, but that's about as far as it goes.

I don't know about that. More or less since Gwen had her cameo and Oni openly said he wanted to introduce her, there was a clear division in his patrons between those who wanted her and those who didn't. So from then on every poll was more of a "Gwenpool against the seemingly most popular girl". Many people voted for Jean, Storm and/or Jubilee simply because they didn't want to see Gwen winning. So there is a chance Gwen will lose time and time again until her only adversaries have so little support, the haters end up caving in.
I'm sort of in between. I like her design, but I really don't like her metacringe, so I'd be willing to accept having her in the game just so Oni can stop whinning through his ass and he can start doing stuff less half-assedly. I still like Wanda, Lorna, Psylocke, Magik, Boom Boom and pretty much anyone else more than Gwen, tho.

Wanda, Mystique, Boomboom and perhaps Spidergwen and She-Hulk is what I'm interested in.

And while there are many more female Marvel characters that would be popular, I'm not sure how well they'd fit into the game - Spidergwen and She-Hulk are already stretching it as is.

Feel like I'm just shitting on the guy's efforts with every post despite it not being my intention, but pregnancy mods would feel wrong without very subtle belly jiggle. No idea how Oni handled jiggle, but I'm gonna assume it's inefficient just like everything else on RenPy and this game.

I was thinking of either pregnant with twins, or ended up ovulating while pregnant and became pregnant while pregnant...
But with all the canon mixes in this game, I don't doubt it.

Assuming you mean Gwen, it seems to be because Oni activelly wants her in - she is even in a cutscene already. So, you know, people want someone else and, if he wants her in so much, add on his own volition outside pool victories.

To be fair, most comic writers themselves missed her point most of the time and made her as if she was trying to be female Wade.
The original creator ended making a miniseries of "Gwen herself" complaining thanks to everyone, including her, hating how she ended up.
In a way, she is the main proof of concept of how finding out you live in a comic book world would suck if most were not onboard and you had no other, actual powers.
So... I myself would probably vote for her because she kinda deserves a hug.

She should just go back to the real world & stay there realizing in the grand scheme of things just because you got knowledge of the thing, doesn't mean you'll survive it.
It's like the Zone from STALKER; Anyone of us (at least if you've played it alot like me) know how we could technically get around even find some of the rarest artifacts that could legit stop bullets & heal you from radiation dramatically ramping your survival chances you'd get caught in an anomaly or storm & be absolutely fucked.

I prefer Oni's version. It's much cuter and more similar to her new comics appearance. But it's also unique, with author's details, character's vision, preference, style and so on. I hope he will do the same with Vanda and continue create unique and yet familar character design.
