Yeah... I'm already regretting that comment as I failed to notice the game now has a female protagonist tag, and I'm now worried that will come back to bite me in the ass (and not in the fun way either) on the off chance that boys will be added to the party once the current pool of potentials runs dry.

That and it's nice to see the Femdom was finally added, as I'm on Night 1 of this run and, staying true to form, Rogue is already barging in on me in the shower. This will be an interesting survival run.
i agree girls need to be more aggressive if you want to see some shit deny them their chin waggles so they can't get off jubilee will force you to the wall & touch you aggressively it's hilarious.

So apparently Laura will ask others to join your harem for you if you get her to agree to letting a girl in when she has the cheating talk with you. At least, I don't remember it working like that for Rouge. Realized this when I wasn't getting the girlfriend event with Kitty, so went to talk to her and see what's up, and found out that I was already dating her without knowing. Huh.

So Laura isn't the only one who actively hunts you down anymore? Well, not counting the constant addiction-fueled being dragged to your room I mean.

... why do I have the feeling that when this game finally gets background music, it's gonna end up being some Silent Hill inspired stuff?

I am surprised that almost no one addresses this issue:
I used to enjoy this game on a weaker computer some 6 years ago,
but the feeling is that it has become slower and slower with every release.
The game has become totally unplayable for me:
Any menu entry I click it's seconds and seconds of lag.
A fraction of it has to do with renpy itself not being designed in a way suited for this manner of sandbox, but that's just a fraction of it, not to mention other sandbox games have been made on renpy with acceptable performance. It also has to do with Oni being first and foremost, an artist, and not much of a coder, so you've got tons of redundant and repeating codes attached to each task running in the background, bringing the performance to a crawl.

Someone should make this horror game.

I totally agree game performance and memory resources usage has crept up with every release and it's become borderline unplayable, which is annoying because the base game while basic (Increase stats = sex) is fun. The only thing that's kept me from trying out new versions (aside from a lack of new content) is the massive fucking lag that happens every time I try to do anything.

I started noticing it ever since Storm was added but I've had massive issues with slowdown even the occasional crash because the game just starts hogging more resources for seemingly no reason. I remember when this game used to eat up 300-ish Mb of my PC's memory worked nice and smooth, then it jumped to 500Mb some slowdown on animations, but still fine if I paced my clicks and actually read the dialog it was barely noticeable. Now on launch it's in the 850Mb range peaking to almost 1 GB duing events with lag spikes. It just doesn't feel worth it. If this game was rendering 3D images or animations I'd blame my potato of a PC but with mostly static images this is absurd. Frankly, after Gwen I hope Oni takes some time to polish the code because at this rate it the new girls he adds will eventually slow shit down to the point we'll all need an i9, with 32gb of RAM and a RTX 4070 to run it.

On my old rig I noticed tons of slowdowns while playing. This new one it has no issues whatsoever but it is asinine that Oni's code is so jumbled up man. Good chance Oni has to rebuild his code base again at some point.

Lets us know how it goes buddy, since femzero actually has a harder time getting any than regular Zero even though you can shower and hang out with the girls way easier.

Wait shit, really?
Laura will really go out of her way to get you new girls to bone?

Duskwolf: *has 32GBs of RAM, a 9900K, and a 2080 Ti*

I never thought of running MSi Afterburner for a porn game just to see it's performance metrics, but here we are... I'll do my best impression of John Linneman when I'm horny, though. I'm not someone who plays porn games in the morning.

Interesting, is this also when the "Do you like me?" [Yes/No/Maybe] conversation showed up in the game? While it's showing itself to be an interesting hurdle to get past, the timing of it showing up is fairly random and, more importantly, pretty damn hilarious. Jubes asking that while she literally still has my blood on her lips is a bit much after all.

Still, I'm gonna say that showering is too OP in this game. I was going to start a Zero Hygiene run to test some things out, but now you've got me interested to keep this Lady Zero test game going for a bit longer.

Hey Guys how are you?
I can't seem to get plan Psi working anymore on this version. And my Emma is level 6.
Does anyone know how I can do it please? Would be much appreciated.

Huh, i wonder if you go the full wizard route like you did with normal Zero, if Laura will still hunt you down eventually?

The game has become totally unplayable for me:

Shift-G opens RenPy's hidden graphics config menu.

I recommend playing with the setting here to see if that improves your performance. It's done wonders for me in many RenPy-based games that I couldn't play on my decade old laptop (i7, 8gb, Intel HD 4000).

Without this, I was seeing exactly what you describe: gradual slowdown between dialogues, slower animations, etc. It would get to the point where the game takes 2-3 seconds to advance dialogue in a scene, even with no animations running or characters on screen.

The other option is to save and restart the app. The restart clears out the slowdown for me. I mention it as a last resort if you can't get the game to play any other way.

But, point is, this seems to be more of a RenPy problem than an Oni problem. It happens across multiple developers, and it's been that way for years now.

After Gwen I hope we get 10 more girls, even if the game has to run 1 frame per minute
