you're mistaking what i'm talkin' about. Only RLE crashes for me depending on which renderer I use, hence why I'm using the current one which doesn't crash & I don't remember atm which one it was. My asking for advice was which rendered, when selected in Ren'py or the game itself is bein' played.
I don't have issues with my GPU or the software related because I already do what you suggest with something else.

I know exactly where my physical copy is, but I'd have to search for my external drive to use it ... kinda crazy to see how technology advanced so fast, entire systems were developed and became redundant within just one or two decades ..
