I have Wanda with me without ever having visited the attic (if I had, the switch would no longer be there).
As you can see, Squirrel is not in my character list.

You only have to see her once in Betsy's intro. You never have to go into the attic when Storm asks you to. Wanda will still show up. That's how I played it. Just left Gollum in her cave.

Evo Wanda seems to be american, maybe of Romani origin but both her and prieto were shown as kids in the USA.
