Have you tried running into something that looks like a small tornado around the map? That is how to get your character run faster. Unless you have tried it and it's no use, then it's a bigger problem.

I figured it out. turn out my pc was so ahh it can run for long :'<. To fix it just select window option instead of fullscreen and choose the right resolution your pc can handle then all good.

It was latest update. Redownloaded but same issue. initially i can give gifts but after two or three missions its all locked and it shows same window for all character. It has hearts and something written in other language.
