Follow the simple instructions, and you got a perfectly automatic working cheat (Exactly like the one in the site you linked, but updated). The program figures out by itself everything, no setup needed or anything.

Update: And yes, this works on 6.8 too.

First of all sorry for the late response,
having said that:

Short answer yes and yes.

Long answer: The creator has the source code uploaded there as well, so if you wanted to verify everything is clean, you could check the code and compile the cheat yourself (You could do that with Visual Studio or something.

Copy and Paste this contents of Cheat_Menu folder into folder with Game.exe
to Patch your www/js/plugins.js
open and run MVPluginPatcher.exe
then Delete MVPluginPatcher.exe and plugins_patch.txt
