an incredible and lustful game, I had fun even when I wasn't pursuing h-scenes! I went after all the quests and really enjoyed exploring the world, and then the sexy times are amazing too. I cant wait for the game to finish and some polish to complete the package

Roundscape is a weird one for me. It was one of the first lewd games I played on this site, and it completely changed my opinion on RPGM porn games. At the time, it was one of my favorites. But after playing so many other games on the site and coming back to this, it has sort of lost some of its luster for me.

From a purely sex scene point of view, this gets a 5 stars. There's a ton of scenes all with art (though not all the same artists, and some are worse compared to others) and most of them are written well enough. This has a large variety of fetishes as well. Companions (and yourself) fuck other people, monsters, animals, and weird creatures, and it's not really avoidable. It's also one of the few games that has a large amount of content for either gender you choose, though I believe male MCs still have more. You'll probably need to have a more open mind to really enjoy everything.

Now looking at it from a game perspective, I think I would give it 2 stars.
The main plot idea is fine. Death god rising up and you gotta stop him. Not really new, but I don't think it's horrible. The problem lies in the execution of everything. Pretty much every area feels undeveloped, and some key moments in the story feel very... lame I guess. An analogy would be that it feels like I'm playing a summary of everything, rather than it having real depth.


Nothing is really filled out. Some companions have barely any content, while others have triple of them. A lot of characters and companions just become part of the background after their quests are done. Locations feel largely empty and not really alive. Big cities don't have more than a couple random quests. You never even really feel like you're in these giant cities either, and I think that comes down to the way maps were designed. Another gripe is that the world doesn't really react to what's going on. A bunch of citizens were slaughtered and the city almost taken over? We killed the bad guy, everything back to normal and like it never happened.

I suppose after being spoiled by better written games, it feels like this just has a lot of missed potential. The game isn't bad, but could have been a lot better. I'm no developer, but for being one of the biggest earning adult games I would expect better. Simply having a bunch of scenes isn't enough for me, even if I like most of them.

All that being said, few games do quite what this does on the sex side of things, even if that could be a lot more rounded out. If you're coming to play this for a solid story driven lewd RPGM game, don't. But if you primarily are here for the porn, I think you can enjoy it provided you have an open mind about all the different fetishes present.

This was the first game I played on the site. I've played through it quite a few times, despite the hefty time tag (nearly 80 hours of gameplay, depending on how much one spends battling and walking around).

The reviews are right, it's not everyone's cup of tea. Companions get shared, some can even work in the castle brothel, some get raped by plants, and so on.

The story is quite decent, until the end of act II. The third act is useless in my opinion. It serves only to introduce more scenes and more companions, but the story is more or less over.

My main problem with the game is the lack of real rewards after battles. For the kind of trouble a group of three harpies give, I'd expect a lot more compensation than money and two apples. I should be able to take them slaves, have my way with them and sell them, or imprison them in my castle for my companions to have fun with them.

Another problem is that being bad ruins your chances with some characters, and you can't get to some weapons. Being good ruins much less, and you get all weapons.

Also, you need to walk a lot as new events become available.

Some complain that if they avoid some scenes, they lose affection points. I also think this should be fixed.

Overall, I think this is a great game, and I still give it 5 stars because nothing on this site compares to the experience I had playing it for the first time.

There's a lot of great stuff in this game, but I think a few downsides keep it from being a great game on the whole.

Full disclosure, I haven't completed it. I'm around the point where you finish liberating that one city with a bitchy governer or something like that. I kinda lost interest and gave up after that so this'll be a review of the game until that point.

First, the sex scenes. The quality of art varies wildly, and while it's never really that terrible, the lack of consistency gets annoying. The scenes are written pretty decently and lot of the art is well done so I'll give it a plus point overall.

The story is the usual generic RPGM fare. Do quests, fight bad guys, etc etc. Which is fine, since we're not really here for Baldur's Gate. At the same time, the story really gets in the way of the porn part of the game. Sometimes scenes just go on and on and having to scroll through countless lines of generic fantasy fluff often kills the mood.

A lot of the RPGM games have this same problem where the story isn't sexy, the quests we do for the main quest isn't sexy, and the gameplay isn't sexy (fucking hell is it not sexy at all). The sex is something that feels relegated to the side content or inconsequential little scenes.

The companion quests and sidequests are much better in this regard (generally) and I'll give them props for having a lot of likable/fuckable companions. I just wished the corruption mechanics were a bit more transparent but what can ya do. There's a lot of great sidequests as well, although it can get obtuse at times and some of the quests were broken for me (there are bugs, alright).

Relative to other RPGM games, it actually looks pretty damn nice, in my opinion. A bit weird sometimes with how realistic textures are used, but I prefer weirdness to bland RPGM tilesets.

The world design is also somewhat disappointing, in my opinion. There are many large cities with expansive maps but there's not much happening in most of it.

The cities are pretty distinct, though, which is pretty nice. Each place has its own vibe so things don't muddle together like they do with many RPGM games.

One absolutely baffling piece of world design is the castle. Early on, you can unlock a castle, which acts like a home base of sorts. You can upgrade its defences, add buildings like stables and brothels, talk to companions who are doing their own thing, etc.

On paper, it all sounds good. My problem is that the castle is so fucking big and empty that I take mental damage every time I have to navigate the thing. I still like the concept but having a home base that's just tiring to navigate is really a huge letdown.

Don't get me wrong, this is still a decent game even with all the downsides but it also keeps crashing on me so I'll subtract another star for that.

t's one of the largest RPGmaker porn games, i played it last year and it took me a few good hours to get to the end with a lot of images. They earn a shit ton on Patreon compared to everyone else ($16,749). They have a very profissinal looking website, the only bad thing about this game was the shift from VX to MV which pushed them back for a long while.

If you read their website they state, over 10 companions, over 100 erotic scene...

There are some people over at Fenoxo forums that believe the game will end up like Breeding Season because of the absurd amount of cash put into it and the constant delays for overhauls over new content but who knows man, it's a great game right now and it can only get better.

I have played many porn games. Among the RPGM games, this can be considered the game with the most amount of character diversity where almost every choice has an impact on the game. I will be talking about the pros and cons now.

Pros :

- good writing
- good amount of side quests and the quality of them
- interesting characters
- diversity in paths
- Good arts
- Good music and sound implementations
Cons :
- Bugs
- Some of the arts are outdated
- inconsistency
- The game should have been finished by now the DEV's are forcing it to continue as they are afraid their other games won't be as impactful as this.

A large game that amounts to less than the sum of its parts. It was difficult to decide on 3/5 rather than 4/5 as having a decent amount of content, which is sadly the exception on this site, is rare but given the inconsistency of that content and the speed at which it is doled out it’s a solid 3/5.

Some aspects are above average, the illustrations are sadly inconsistent but even accounting for that they are mostly good with a fair number of quality ones and just a few absolutely abysmal pieces that ruin any potential a scene had.

The story is inoffensive if forgettable where from the outset you are presented with a number of origins, almost like DAO except missing most of what they added to that game both in terms of gameplay and story. These origins have no real bearing on the story which like a Bioware game has good/evil choices which true to their inspiration have few if any reasons to pick an evil choice aside from the occasional scene locked behind corruption.

One aspect that is below average, that makes it especially tragic that they elected to use RPGM, is the gameplay.

There’s really not much to say, other than avoid it, about the combat system. I played on normal which is only one of the five but the fact they decided on five different difficulties is itself a red flag. I gave the game a chance hoping normal would give me a streamlined but still occasionally challenging experience. Instead, you get a boring combat system that is totally trivialized once you unlock the ranger class and just spam the volley of shots or whatever it’s called and the MC just oneshots almost everything. You’d be wise to just take the built-in skip combat feature the game presents you with fairly early on because it’s a mistake to engage with this system even if you like RPGM stuff usually.

The gameplay flaw that really gets me though is the maps. It is rare that the maps in a RPGM game make an impression such that they even warrant discussion. I honestly can’t even tell you what is RTP as I’m not some snob who disdains using that stuff or whatever but this game’s maps will stick with you, they’ll make you appreciate any game that respects your time and has reasonably constructed areas to explore for content.

The real offender here is the “home base”. Early on the game foists a castle on you, in a manner so perfunctory it’s almost humorous, and boy it couldn’t have been implemented in a more frustrating manner.

It’s really sad to think about the castle in this game, it’s so big and SO EMPTY. You’ll spend hours walking through these empty halls looking for scenes that come few and far between. Even with a guide it’s not fun to navigate when every room is so unnecessarily huge and, almost without exception, empty.

It’s sad because I can imagine that when they came up with the idea of this castle it was something they were passionate about. They laid the foundation for what could have been the most impressive home base in any RPGM porn game. The castle could have started out empty but gradually grew and grew. It could have ended up a vibrant center of your power filled with many memorable characters major and minor. But that’s not what happens. The game would simply have to be absolutely enormous in scope to really fill out the whole castle and more of a kingdom simulator instead of the traditional JRPG format that it is. Another reason is overall there’s a distinct lack of any effective attempt to construct a living, internally consistent world.

As I said you’re given this castle for no real reason, you didn’t earn it, so it makes sense you don’t really feel like you’re actually a ruler of any sort. I can’t claim that there was no attempt at worldbuilding, there are books scattered about that contain lore that left no impression good or bad and have no real use or implication outside checking the “we tried worldbuilding” box. The societies, kingdoms, and races presented have no substantial political struggles or events of any kind conveyed that aren’t almost immediately resolved by the protagonist, so you don’t really get sense of a living world.

Getting away from the sad state of the gameplay there is one thing in particular I appreciated. That thing is the Nexilim. Essentially a race of horny dickgirls, which for me is great, that are open in their acts of debauchery but have the conscientiousness to segregate their children from such acts. They also look like Sith which is unusual and refreshing if obviously unoriginal. Someone who is passionate about the lore, if they exist, would mention how they reproduce with… alpha females or something but they are almost totally absent from scenes aside from one that is illustrated poorly.

The worldbuilding around the Nexilim is largely a standard fantasy Orient though mostly in aesthetic. For example, the janissaries are lifted directly from the ottomans as the elite military of the Nexilim race. Though the force presented ingame is bereft of the complexity of the actual historical corps. This was done to fit the Oriental theme which is fine with me; I like the Orient. I actually appreciate how they created an Oriental society that at face value seems exotic in a decadent and debauched way but actually has the aforementioned safeguards for children and a corps whose virtues are to some degree communicated in Tishtyra.

Tishtyra is the Nexilim party member, who is my favorite companion though she doesn’t really have much in the way of competition. She is a studious and talented warrior and mage as a result of her Janissary training and is principled and idolizes a prior hero of her order and strives to live up to their legacy. At least that’s how she operates in the narrative. You would hope that would translate to the gameplay but no, in the actual combat she’s about as useful as a fucking paperweight.

Still, between Tishtyra’s character and the overall structure of Nexilim society the game does a decent job of subverting expectations in regard to a fantasy Orient society. Sadly, the plot and actual content in the zone itself is predictably very shallow. There is a great deal of wasted potential here as there is most everywhere in this game.

I once had a conversation with someone about this game to which they described it as the "Dragon Age" of porn games. I think that says enough, but I will go on. There are various unique origins you can start as that change how your character interacts with the world to varying degrees, the equipment customization is the coolest I have ever seen in an RPG Maker game, and there's a robust companion affection system which I have also never seen done in this format. You can play as either a guy or a girl, and there's so much content for both that you can easily miss some but not feel like you have. In my opinion, this is the best in slot for what it is trying to do. I bought this game prior to my making an account.

I've played a good amount of RPGM games , this one has like.. the best combat so far and really feels like an RPG,

Inconsistent with art but not enough to take away from the goods.

Not definitely a good choice for a quick fap though, you have to invest a fair amount of time though it is worth it.

Inconsistent art and mediocre writing are not enough to take away from the sheer volume of good content.

It addresses many fantasy tropes/fetishes, and has variety depending on if you play a male or female character.

This game is a VERY good RPG, but is pretty disappointing as a hentai game. You can easily go an hour between scenes, which is not something I personally think is a good idea when your target audience is horny. I give it 3-stars out of respect for the RPG aspect, and if you're just looking for a game, give this a go. But I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for something to get off to.

Ok, so here we go, first of all i must say that i'd played for about 30hours of the game and damn this thing has a LOT to talk about and not in a good sense.

The story: I mean it's ok i guess it get's interesting in some points and has some in lore depth that you may find worth checking out but it's nothing too outstanding, let's leave it at a 3.5/5

The characters: Dude this is really a tricky one because sometimes you're gonna see characters behaving some way and in another scene they'll behave in another, sometimes without a really logical explanation, i'll give you an example with meredith at the beginnings of the game if you chose to rise her affection you will get dialogues(and of course scenes) corresponding that affection level and it comes to mind when she says she loves u blah blah blah, but when you unlock the threesome scene with her and a dwarf member of the party she says she isn't in love with anyone , so that's that, no sense whatsoever. Though most of the interesting characters are really undeveloped, so.. 2/5

The RPG: Man, it's a mess and yeah i'd played 30 hours of it because i have no self worth and i love rpgs, but god damm this is some boring combat no matter if you play on hard or easy, as if you play on easy it's horrible combat system will bore you to death and if you play on hard you'd go with your best character and leave every other party member behind bc if you aren't playing with cheats enabled or grinding the shit out of the game(which i remind you it's awfully tedious) then you'll only have one or two really good equiped characters, so this isn't a strong point of the game.. 2/5

The art: The really reediming factor of this mess, yeah you'll find really REEALLY good wanking material in here, but beware because you'll also encounter some art that it's kinda bad if not terrible but no that much(overall it's really worth seeing the art) 5/5

The Classes: Hell it's probably belonging in the RPG segmet of the review but it's a personal choice of why i'm talking of this element of the game in particular; Let me tell you, it's the most interesting and really solid concept of the game(at least in my opinion) but it's also the most underwhelming part of the game as you unlock them by completing certain sidequest which are kinda fun until the unfold onto a dissapointing end, which is a class that just sounds cool but has very little impact on combat and much less in actual context of the world( one of many examples of this is the inquisitor class, yeah you gain the class but don't really get anything much about it other than the name in the menu screen and the really bad abilities, nor the characters who are of the same class mentiong anything outside the sidequest that involved them) so it's actually meaningless to obtain new classes as you'll use the few that are decent; As i said it's a personal favourite but it hurts me that this concept is not really used well 2/5

The porn: Yeah the important stuff in a PORN GAME, it's ok got some fetishes here and there at some times feels more of a voyeur simulator than anything but it's got little bits of fetishes for everyone , do mind that when i said that it's a voyeur simulator means that it's about 40% you fucking things and 60% you watching people fuck, also it has a very weird mechanic where if you don't like a scene of whatever fetish or whatever character, the game punishes you, like you lose relation points FOR NOT LIKING SOMETHING, but yeah aside of that it's ok 3.5/5

(PS: i think it's important to point out that the games boast that you have the power of ''choice'' but it really plays out is as i said: lame good guy choices or lame bad guy choices)

Bugs: Sometimes character sprites who weren't supossed to be there just stayed there(? like that weird crab zoidberg thing stayed in the beach after it's scenes and the dark mage or whatever he was in the tower(i killed him so he shouldn't be there) but for my run aside from those two i really didn't encouter much

Overall it's a meh game with some interesting stuff but nothing that really shines(aside from the good art) at best a intersting history and at worst som really dumb character ''development'', if i had to play it again i'd... certainly would but i'm sure ass hell that if another person asked me if he should play it, id recommend to rip the cgs.
Anyway i'd be glad to do this more long and detailed but that just be me throwing a tantrum at the bad things and bringing up the few good things of this game, pardon if i did some bad wording or something like that, as english isn't my native language.

The game is good. Its an RPG with adult/nsfw elements to it.

- The story is well thought out
Its the strong point of this game. Its very well written.
There are times when the plot will grab and keep your interest and never let it go, untill you get an answer.
The mini-stories for each CLass/Path are the best. You never see this type of stuff in other RPGM games.
Ofc my favourite Path is the farmer (for obvious reasons). You get to fuck MC's mother or if playing FemaleMC you get to prostitutes yourself together with the mother.

- The female characters are decent
Honestly they look good, but I cant say I particularly like their looks. But this is wierd for me since the art style changes many times during the game. So there is a disconnect for me.
My favourite looking character is for sure the redhead from the brothel

In terms of personality, then my favourite ones has to be the elf and the mom.
Succubus and Meredith are not bad either but .... a little too much for my taste.

- There is unavoidable NTR
There is sharing, cucking, cheating, open relationships. And its not avoidable, it happens regardless if you watch it or not.
Thats why Succubus and Meredith are not to my liking... they are the main offenders in all of this.
You can ONLY minimize this type of content if you avoid corrupting the female characters and yourself. (there is a corruption system. Doing evil/bad stuff will gain corruption points for you and/or the female characters). But you can never completely avoid. So playing as MaleMC feels very bad, horrible actually. Game can make you feel like crap at times.
So I advice you to play as FemaleMC and just treat it like a braindead fuck fest.

- The sex scenes are good
Even tho there are no animations, the render carry the scenes a lot. Dialog in them is whatever. Sometimes it can be romantic.
Art style during the scenes changes as you play. Think they get different artist for different scenes. So there is bound to be art you do not like. Most of it is top quality tho. But there are some goofy renders ...

Overall, the game is good. Its worth it if you play as FemaleMC. (You can choose to play as Male or Female)
The rpg mechanics are done extremely well. I love the weapon/enchant system.
Its not too grindy. If you do some side quest you will always be able to take on the main content. But it can get difficult if you rush the main story only.
Farmer and Noble are for sure the best Paths. Tho the others are good too. Especially for roleplaying reasons.
I enjoyed most of the game

A top game overall. I liked both the lewd and the non-lewd parts of it. I have nothing negative to say except there's some minor typos that appear in the writing every once in a while. Looking forward to what the makers of this game bring in the future.

I started playing this game several years ago and since then tried to play the new updates. Unfortunately, despite all my time sank into this game, i can't recommend it. In my current playthrough, at the start of act 2, the game just freezes every 5 - 10 minutes making it very frustrating to play.

Add to this all other gameplay bugs and issues. For example, in one of the more recent expansions i had an evil MC who killed some quest-related character, but other NPCs around me completely ignored my quest choices and that character i killed came back to life as if nothing happened. After that i got dialogue for the good ending (lol). So no, don't waste your time playing this game.

Just a great game with a whole lot of content. Good story/stories, nice characters and good rpg gameplay. one of my must downloads and supports.
No bugs I have experienced to and even great replayablity.
Hoping for even more great content.

Have to say, this is a great Role Playing Game. Few I can think of can match this game. Here are my thoughts.

First, the combat. While combat is expected to be there in a RPG sex game. It is generally not the focus of the game. Though this game really knocked it out of the park with combat. Their are items you can use outside of combat to heal you but only certain items can heal you during combat. Meaning, you best be prepared for every ecotour. Secon, the hardcore mode is a great mode in that it forced me to bump down the difficulty to just hard. I am a decent RPG gamer and if I have to lower the difficulty, it tells me this is a challenging game. Yet when I played that mode, I never felt cheated by the gameplay.

The quest system could use a small touch up. For example, would like a sub menu for all the minor quests you can do. Would also like a mode to sort the completed quests from the still active quests.

Also just liked just how beautiful the world is. This is an age of peace and this is reflected in just how beautiful the forests are, the towns, and even the music. The music was incredibly soothing.

The sex scenes in my opinion are great. They have a great style in this game.

Overall, this is a must play for JRPG fans. If you are just here for the smut, I would still recommend it just be warned that you have to do combat/storylines in this game to get to the fun stuff.

If you enjoy turn-based combat then you should consider this a star or two higher.

The game looks high end, but... just fails at grabbing my interest, being offered cheats in-world feels immersion breaking, especially when it comes with a drawback, and you barely know what the game is even about. Story might become interesting later on, but I already lost interest.

Amazing game, with a lot of content, and I mean a lot. Firstly there are different events for each character class you chose and weather you are female or male. Also depending on your choices some content may not occur while other is available.

There are many fetishes you can explore many of which will reoccurs in different events or may be repeated over and over depending on the event.

The game has a fairly linear story, however, it is made up by the choices along the way. Following this there are many side events that you can do. First time I played this game I did not get far though the main story and the acts but instead decided to explore the extra events.

However, I'm this game the 3rd time from scratch due to the enjoyable content. One thing that is unique about this game is the art style which changes throughout different events making the experience more diverse.

First of all I need to say is that I did play this game many times, but now for the first time I decided to just play it until I see the ending. It took me (someone that knows this game pretty well) about 30hrs including the fact that I used save editor from time to time to not worry about grinding, and I still think that I completed about 70% of the game.
I did really enjoy this game much. For me this is a reason why I would give it 5 stars no matter what.

For those that like numbers:
- Graphics 4.5/5
- Music/Sound 2.5/5
- Story 5/5
- Characters 5/5
- Gameplay 4.5/5

Good things:
- Great and long story,
- A lot of different CG styles (they never bored me),
- Interesting companions,
- Rich playstyle customization,
- Zero to none bugs in current version (nearly all of them were just false quest marks)

Other features (mostly sex related, cons if You are not into them):
- A lot of bestiality
- Oversized genitals, etc.
- Many more fetishes (futa, pregnancy, pissing, incest etc.)

And the one thing that is not good for me:
- Sex sounds and music (if this were great here I would ask people to sign a petition on f95 to give it 6 stars).

Overall for me this is a masterpiece of RPGM. I have seen maybe 2 other RPGM games on f95 that were of similar quality and rich in content.
I really do recommend playing this game. I will definitely look forward to other Arvus Games titles in the future.
