Hypnotic School Life : Sexy and Nude, The Imperial Gatekeeper, Goblins Burrow, Lazy Angel Mika, and License to Breed are not RPG maker games.

RPG maker games have a blue tag with the text "RPGM" on it.

For the last game, The Black Guards of Odom - Desert Town Prison, it has some very windows specific plugins which aren't compatible with the launcher.

I am working a tool that will work with the other games but it's far from ready and still very much in beta:

It should work for Mojave, did you do it with this (different versions of macos have different ways):

and post the contents of log.txt here


And if the logfile isn't there, try opening up the terminal and run the following (assuming the launcher is in your downloads folder):

cd Downloads
open RPG-Maker-Launcher.app

and post the output here

which game are you trying to play.

The launcher isn't able to find some required files within the folder you've selected. It's possible that the game has been packaged in a way that hides the assets.

Does this happen when you open the game or after you have played a while? Because I'm not seeing this error.

Edit: Found the same error, it's unfortunately something to do with the code in the game. You can ask the people who manage mkxpz here:

I have a feeling this is a mkxpz problem but just want to see if possible for a fix

Something is wrong with the formatting of the game.ini file.
To fix this:

Look in your gamefolder for the file called game.ini

Open it up with textedit, then try to save it as utf-8 format.
