The player says it's english but the game is in russian and my russian is extremely poor.
The necromancy story line is the one that comes off my head, it is a very noticeable dead end.I have been inspired by Anon88's work on Evil and I've done a couple things here and there to Rubedo.
I'm sort of just meandering through content at the moment, adding a few QOL tweaks here and there but my main additions are a fort on the edge of the western road that's holding back the cult and Lena has a brother to help her on the farm.

Even the menu terms can change on a whim and makes understanding decisions difficult in multiple cases.whoever said the english version is legible you are a big fat lying liar that lies a lot. the english version may as well be MTL for all the sense it makes. in fact i bet it was MTL, wasn't it? can we please put the 'english' language in the languages section to english - MTL or english - poor translation? it genuinely is pretty bad.
as an example - the word 'priests' is being used as, what i can only guess, a descriptor for the word 'crotch'. or waist, perhaps, i dont know, because it's used a startlingly large amount of times.
so yeah, this is bad.

Honestly I think I will do that. Thanks for the app name. I am used to translating games via Unreal Engine Game development. Not to mention got a lot of spare time at moment. Will report back if all goes well.You may be this person!
1) Unpack the game code of the Russian version with QGEN editor.
2) Ask ChatGPT to translate all Russian strings. I'm pretty sure it's smart enough to do this in rather decent way; explicitly ask to be consistent as well, so that it does a double-check; or start with menu and items, and then proceed in everything else asking to be consistent -- it will take some time, of course, but at the end you'll get something more legible.
3) Then replace the subfiles and pack everything back.
4) …
5) PROFIT!
I am currently attempting it, as well as throwing in some of my own "improvements" to the game. Problem is if you use automation - it will break the code, so i just gave up and doing it by hand. If i don't burnout you can probably expect it in like 6-7 months for initial release. Any progress so far?Progress delayed. Caught a virus and had all my info stolen, decided to reinstall windows on clean drives as i had no idea which files were corrupted. No backups as those had potential to carry the virus. (3 different AV scans detected nothing, but i was for sure compromised)

What is left is the rest of the translations, diversifying the pictures and doing a better quest log (because the current one is nearly unusable)
I am currently hardstuck trying to fix all the triggers in the real world part of the game, but as things stand - i am considering just deleting this route alltogether and transfering the unique stuff you can get via it (like gym styles) into another location in anime world. I am bad with deadlines, so i will at least give a little "tease" about upcoming "improvements":
1)Stat system is reworked, most taxing actions now develop your stats. I.e - working in mines has a chance to increase strength/endurance. Think elder scrolls levelling.
2) Besides levelling via activity, default levelling is left unchanged. (Yeah, balance is fucked now compared to original, but imo it was always fucked so i do not care)
3) Overall grind is toned down as fuck. No "tier" shall require more than 10 interactions. With lower tiers acquirable with as little as single interaction. Mostly relevant to combat stuff. Relationships will be toned down as well, but can't give concrete numbers atm.
4) I decided to leave IRL unchanged, but add some QOL
5) For now, IRL questlog will still be as bad as it was originally. (not really a change, but hey, have to tone down expectations at least a little bit,right?)
6) Decent English translation of the whole game. Russian is my native language. English is my second language. There might, and probably will be some mistakes, especially considering punctuation, but overall it will definitely be playable at least
7)Overall improvement in image variation where it mattered. Only concerns scenes with randomized pictures. Most of the scenes with 2-3 randomized pictures were expanded to 10 options at least
