Ren'Py - Abandoned - Runaway Princess [v0.4 Final] [MobumGames]

One of the best games on this site. The characters and their storylines are hot as fuck. If you are worried about the grind: use a save editor to increase your stats every couple of days and follow a guide. It's worth it. The sister alone makes this game one of the greats.

Great erotic RPG with lots of choices and options on how to approach situations. You can be manipulative, dominant or plain romantic towards love interests which leads to different scenes and variations. The best use of Day/Night cycle implemented in a Porn game in this site, which each different time zones having different characters and scenes and things to do. For a sandbox game the game itself is not grindy at all, and each interaction with a character either through training or quests offers new scenes. Impressive Inventory mechanics with Hunger/Thirst/ Energy system implemented which does not feel tacked on or tiring to manage.

I have to say this game surprised me a lot. This is the concept of sandbox I've been waiting for. It would be rather inappropriate no to give a credot to the renders - they are marvelous. The characters are really different from each other.

But let's take a step back to look at the system.
It has a great potential. I admire it a lot, it gives so much oppotunities, but it has much to be fixed. I encountered a bunch of bugs, but I hope they'll be fixed in the future updates.


Have to add about the stats:
The stats and perks, that are given in the beginning by the dialog with granddad and Elly are unobvious. I mean, it doesn't explain any of these even in character window.

Overall it is a great game and I'm looking forward to further updates.

I just worked through 0.3 BETA, and I continue to be impressed with this game. The story is a fun coming-of-age tale set in a beautifully-rendered fantasy kingdom. The artwork is top-notch with all kinds of gorgeous women. Mobum has figured out a way to make his female characters "come alive" ... via jiggling boobies! (And fun dialogue and unique characterization.) Mobum's efforts to push RenPy into RPG dynamics are also very impressive. Overall, this is an ambitious, engaging, and immersive game.

I think I've seen most content in this version, but it's hard to tell, because of all the grind. The game simply does not value the players time, it's insulting frankly. Nothing ever happens, yet you have to grind for resources, water, food, money. None of it is any challenge whatsoever, you simply grind a bit and done but it's so repetitive and mindbogglingly boring. Also the balance seems way off, e.g. nutrition if you eat at a table with your sister (not blood related ofc) then hunger/thirst gets filled but if you eat on your own (apples, sausages,fish etc) it barely recovers like 3% of the bar, it is just immensely annoying.

Then also you have to grind romance points and corruption points over and over and over again with no new content until you grinded dozens for a small snippet of a small new scene happening. This game does everything that is negative for a sandbox and nothing that is positive (exploration,meaningful strategic choices, etc). If you LOVE mindless repetitive GRIND you will love this too. If you love good pacing, or story progression, or content in any way shape or form, stay far away.

Don't know about the grind, the stilted and unnatural dialogue did the game in before I got to see any. Maybe it gets better further in, but life's too short and F95's too full of games to ever find out.

If you don't like sandbox or any form of grind, maybe better stay away.
Or simply give it a try! You may get hooked too.

This game has many qualities, but let me tell you a secret:
There's a BEAUTIFUL ELVEN PRINCESS INSIDE!

Yes, its a sandbox. Yes, there is grind.
BUT its a good and damn rewarding kind of grind!

I greatly enjoy this game. It has a LOT of content for a 0.2 / 0.3 release. Much more content than other games' 0.5 versions tend to offer.

It's FUN to roam around and meet a cast of interesting, HOT and lovable girls, driving their stories further one bit at a time. And you get a lot of CHOICES that feel relevant. They change outcomes and people. You can romance and corrupt. You can even let the wannabe village casanova be your wingman - or punch him in the face. It's up to you!

Dialogues and pacing are flowing nicely. Spicy scenes are subtle at the beginning, but things get rolling quickly. Render quality is also very good. The game feels immersive and the soundtrack is pleasant.

Awesome game. So charming and immersive.

This game is really lovable. Although it is only 0.2 now (2nd version), it has lots of enjoyable content. I like the first part with managing the farm and visiting the village. There are nice scenes with sis. She is one of the sweetest beings on earth, and also funny. Daily life with her is just great.

Game needs still some finetuning, but what we can see already imo is first class.

Second part (journey) is also fun, as well as life in the city.

I have to confess, that the whole game mechanics were not really easy (for me), so I needed 3 or 4 attempts to understand it fully, but it is fun to find out. With good games, this does never bore me, just the opposite.

Still early but already a ton of content and great storylines between each of the many likable characters (my personal favorite is Valentina). The grind is overwhelming and causes the player to spend far more time playing than needed, but the story is so good that it is still worth it. I can't wait to keep up with the updates for this one as it already is an incredibly good game. I really wish there was a walkthrough or help system built in to provide steps on what to do next.

Much like the creator's previous game, there are plenty of hot characters with different personalities which make the game very fun to play. This game is a bit different in that it is almost like three games in one (starts in MC's home village, then follows him traveling to a new location, and then transitions to a new village), and there is a very long process before getting to the majority of the scenes. The potential is huge for this game to go into many different paths which I absolutely love. I only wish there was a way to avoid the grind getting there.

I'm also happy to see an RPG game on Renpy as it is very rare and I hope will lead to more developers following suit.

First, to the developer, if you're reading this, I liked your last game, and I think you're a generally good dev, but this game has some issues, issues that I think can be fixed, but issues nonetheless.

Issue the First: Starting the game out, I have 0 clue as to what it is I'm supposed to be doing, gather supplies for winter is about it. I understand wanting to have a normal intro, but this is needlessly padded out.
Issue the Second, I cannot for the life of me find anything that tracks quests
Issue the Third: Nighttime feels like a waste of time, once it becomes night, I effectively cannot do anything outside of the house, sleeping often results init still being the ass end of the night, and me having to wait around doing nothing.

Story is what to expect of an RPG.... grind, grind and grind.

But what's a complete no go "Game over, you should have ...."

There is no warning or a hint system to fulfill the needed tasks.

Even to find out how to store the produced/hunted items to finish the winter task took me 10 minutes.

The idea is good, the renders are ok.
There is too much grind and nearly no hints what you have to do to continue the story.

wrote like 5 paragraph review for this awesome game then just clicked out of the revew window and it all went to hell... this is just....i rather not even...

so gonna keep it super short this time - loved the game so far, hope the dev wouldnt drop the RPG elements to the inevitable *drop-the-grind-just-wanna-fap* crowd

ps: wish Mobum would start doing games full time, gonna be a galactic level breakthrough in sexy gaming

The game is v0.2 at the time of this patch. I'm sure things could change as time goes on.

Currently I'm happy with where this project is and I'm excited for its future. It is an actual game with a pretty comprehensive stat system. It may end up being a bit grindy, but that just means there will be plenty to do.

Promising start. Open world fantasy setting is good for the story. Girls are beautiful and renders are decent. Rpg aspect and numbers of choices are also promising. I'm looking for the updates in the future.
