I use bitdefender and never got any problems so far. Far as I know is amongst the best (say top 3 or 5) ESET of course taking the crown albeit also consumes resources. IMHO if its good for ESET, kaspersky or bitdefender, is good for me. Havent had any problems or lost access to anything or information leaked (and downloaded the september version back somewhere in october).

One thing to consider is that since the translation edits stuff from the original, like original language and lots of stuff that might be making some false positives. My take is just download the entire game from one of the links, i got that and everything is good. Will edit later with the scan of bitdefender of the entire game, rn scanning my ENTIRE folder of mind control games after removing some exceptions i had in place

Kind of confused about exactly what the update that bumped this was, since the changelog lists the last update in September with no version number, and "first pass" done.

Is this supposed to be a final version after all cleanup is done?

You should probably stop looking at F95 changelogs like they mean anything. Translation is technically not done, but "done" at the same time. Because there are multiple passes being done to fix wrong lines.


Also this is a real, high-quality translation. So salute and cheers to you translator for putting in the work

Heres the analysis. Also I was talking about the entire game download you can get from the post that is a zip that says "Saimin Yuugi (2025-09-01).zip", erased my game from before because i used to update based off a branch (shout out to WHJB the absolute goat of the translation that basically did all the work).

Note: this is my ENTIRE folder of hentai games (this one included ofc)

i have a problem opening the game i start 催眠遊戯.exe i white screen with DirectX options in english appears but does not matter what i put when i click start the game opens with a black screen and closes :C i am using locale emulator japanese, and i check directX and says i have the latest version and also i have my system unicode in japanese. help pls :c i played the game before with mtl and had no problems with it and looked great so i am very hype to played with a human translation.

Does anyone know where to install the system.dat from the unlocker? It said to find the 催眠遊戯 folder and I did, but I tried without a subfolder or with a subfolder for SaveData and it doesn't work.

This isn't the final version. I'm not sure why it's being listed as "complete" when the README specifically says: "This patch is incomplete. Do not advertise it as a complete translation of Saimin Yuugi."

From the menu, start a new game, a new choice will appear a short while into the game that doesn't appear during the first playthrough.

I have a somewhat similar issue. I am running a locale emulator, and while it works and I can navigate the game, no art, CG, or voices play. Only the background music and a black screen. The text can still be read and skipped, but nothing else.

It's detecting the file arc_conv, which is used to unpack and repack the game files, and is flagged due to that nature.

I have a somewhat similar issue. I am running a locale emulator, and while it works and I can navigate the game, no art, CG, or voices play. Only the background music and a black screen. The text can still be read and skipped, but nothing else.

My only guess would be to try installing the June 2010 DirectX from Microsoft's website

I had to run it using Japanese locale. Same thing with someone who said the full save they used didn't work - run in Japanese locale.
