It depends if you have your own artist or you need to pay artist for the work. I would say that if game is not very popular, then you might get enough money to pay for the artist and animations, but that's it.

For example we are doing this because we love making games, but we don't have an artist and animator on our own. All money that we earn we are investing in game. People supporting us on patreon are just helping us create more content, but that's about it.

If you really want to earn money, it's best if you have your own artist, because the prices are huge.
