RPGM - Completed - Salvation [Clymenia]

The CGs and scenarios are good, but the way you unlock more H content in this game is really annoying and tries my patience.

Basically, for every new outfit you unlock for your girls, you need to go trigger a bunch of very repetitive events to grind up points to unlock the next outfit that unlocks the next set of events. It's a very inorganic way to unlock H content, and feels very gamey? And you're constantly walking through the same areas over and over because you have to swap girls and walk through the same area over two dozen times to see everything.

It gets old, fast, and since the lewdest scenes are just iterations on previous scenes, it becomes very predictable as well.

But the girls are very hot, and it's not the worst thing I've played.

The combat is okay and doesn't overstay its welcome (it's a small part of the game).

A very 3/5 experience.

Overview: A very simple RPGM that functions more of a interactive hentai than a game. The story is extremely basic but serves its purpose. I'd say the best part of this game is that it does not waste your time getting to the end. Only around 2.5 hours to beat just doing quests but just finding all the scenes would take another 3 hours. Since it isn't really a game I can't give it too high of a score but with 3 classic heroine archetypes, evolving costume changes and a ton of scenes, I'd say its worth taking a look at.
Also use this uncensor/QoL mod.

Hentai: (4/5)
The premise is a blonde princess with a dark elf and wolf-girl who need more power to do their quest, so they get empowered by a godess who buffs them after they do lewd things. The art style and character designs (also clothing) would likely get a 5/5 from me in a similar game, but there are a couple downfalls. In order to find all the H-scenes, you practically need to talk with every NPC 3 times, once with each character to find out if they have a scene or anything. This makes the hunt for scenes really monotnous. The main scenes (unique art) are good and progress as the characters get stronger/lewder but the side-scenes mostly use the same 2-3 sprites for 10 different encounters. In addition, for the scenes/clothing to progress, you need to raise a lewd stat, which requires you repeating scenes. The side scenes inflate the number of scenes per character but that isn't a particularly big downside. The clothing system that is really nice and the lewd route has funny end sequence where . Also no blowjobs in the entire game which I find really strange.

Gameplay: [2/5]
Standard RPGM battling mechanics. The MC has a single spell that does way more damage than anyone else and trivializes every fight. There is no reason to go do the lewd stuff for buffs since you can clear the game without doing that. Honestly closer to 1/5 but it doesn't particularly waste time and is not an active detriment.

We're all familiar with the three-generation problem, but a quick summary in my own words is:

1. Excellent
2. Good
3. Trash

Of course, 800 years into the future and 69 generations later, the descendants of the heroes who wiped out evil have no special skills and are incompetent. To combat this, they make a deal with the horny goddess where in an exchange for lewd activity, they gain power.

Switching between 3 different characters, you basically level up your corruption via class levels and experience H scenes with NPCs spread across cities. It's nothing we haven't seen before, but chances are there'll be something you'll like considering there's the beloved archetypes of F95zone, which is the blonde princess, the dark elf warrior, and the wolf girl.

If you've read from above, the story and gameplay is fairly straight forward. Clymenia in their usual fashion removes all H-RPGM gunk so to speak, and makes things enjoyable from start to finish. 4/5 overall.

This game is really poor when it comes to gameplay and story, everything is just generic, the characters that's looks like the same ones of almost every other game of this genre i've played, the basic medieval fantasy with magic and demons worldbuilding that is saturated, the basic rpgm combat mechanic with easy and uncessesery battles and the boring story that you can skip without fear of loosing something important.

The Idea of the characters get more slutty costumes every time they get stronger are good, but when you need to repeat scenes to get this, the game start getting repetitive.

The erotic events are good, well drawn and the dialogues are nice, not too long or too short and explore a good range of fetishes, some of them are not my piece of cake but it doesn't turn my experience painfull or something.

One of the best corruption games out there. Exploration and combat is quick and simple and doesn't waste much of your time so you can focus on the important stuff. Great character sprites with costumes that get more lewd as you progress. Lot of scenes with good variety for all characters.

Damn, this game is really well done. Corruption is on the sweet spot, it's neither fast nor slow. You got three kind of girls with different personalities(one of them is a masochist for example). Each one of them opens up different locations. Scenes are pretty hot as well and there are bunch of H-scenes in the game. Combat is easy, main girl's(Blonde) Witch class gets pretty strong for clearing pack of mobs.
It's 5/5 from me without a doubt.

Not exactly original! You've probably played half a dozen hentai rpg's that follow a very similiar formula. it's a turn based rpg where the combat doesn't matter, the main gameplay loop is hunting for the smut scenes. The combat is actually weirdly deep, but it's pretty easy to not care and brute force your way through it, cause the devs know what they're about and didn't exactly make it the challenge of a generation.

So I'm just gonna say that in all likelihood, you know if you like this game. It's not breaking new ground, but the porn is pretty high quality and there's a whole dang lot of it, really good fetish variation too. Maybe your even here for the actual gameplay, you weirdo, and you'll probably have a bit of fun with that too. It's top-tier high quality pure generic.

Good:

- LOTS of content / H-scenes
- No bugs
- Good art work
- Fun combat (especially if you use the password to go the easy route)
- Decent story
- Interesting to play 3 characters at once (particularly enjoyed this in combat)
- Auto-set on "speed walk"
- CTRL accelerates through text (very useful during repetitive grind sessions)
- Gallery (which can be fully accessed with passwords).

Meh:
- Censored (all naughty bits are pixelated except for breasts)
- H-scenes use the same 6 or 7 poses / artwork over and over
- Would be better if the gallery told you what you were missing (to help with completing the game) rather than just showing blank squares.
- Some of the gallery scenes - despite exceptional effort, never did figure out how to trigger within the game (e.g. the Dark Elf scenes in the final village).

Bad:
- TREMENDOUS amount of grind at the beginning. Having to do the same scenes over and over and over. Almost a game breaker for me.
- While artwork was good, the sexy scenes just didn't strike me as that sexy.
- Due to all of the above, I was never engaged in the characters, so the game is more of a "check the box" game than "I want to see what happens next to the characters."

One of the best corruption games I have ever played. I have returned and replayed this game a few times, which normally I never do.

Art is very good and the story gives good progression without feeling unearnt or like it is progressing too fast.

Would definitely recommend to first timers or anyone with any interest in corruption

Play as three different girls, explore, unlock new outfits and find H scenes. Each scene progresses each time you visit, so make sure to visit the same places multiple times. I like the cat girl the best.

A great game featuring 3 different POV which is quite unique. The different outfits that you can have them wear are nice too. Would certainly recommend this to anyone that likes Clymenia's other works.

This is more a simulation than an RPG:
the equipment is irrelevant- buying it is tedious (3 individual chars.) and gives only a few stat bonuses and you find more of it by adventuring;
the stats hardly matter- everything meaningful is received from skill buffs;
Combat EXP and GOLD are useless since the best source of power is lust goddess and events give more than enough gold;
the 3 individual characters and different corruption(?) states make the events a grind for variability;
the RPG and town sections are clearly separated by areas and game style;
the translations are not fully accurate (half of the quiz answers are unobtainable, blocking progress)

The PLOT/ H/ GOOD STUFF:
incredible art and good sound for highly variable H events;
outfit changes (even if it's forcefully impacts the play style and is necessary for certain events without giving you a clue);
H interaction NPCs and objects are unmarked;
irrelevant virginity stat and unexpected rape events;

Corruption and rapes nonsensical as most these mass produced corruption fad games. Seriously a protected Naive princess that is a battlefield genius commander as if war would not have taught her dark side of human nature...especially when the battle she won at intro was based on understanding nature of two opposing commanders.

Repetitive- both reusing same poses for H scenes and revisiting same cities and people to get corruption levels up made more so by the dumb corruption plotting.

Poor writing and translation with pointless attempts to justify ridiculous corruption pathlines,,,ie we need to follow local customs not to offend so I better just bend over and let these dregs fuck me without complaint. Especially coming from the dark elf that shows no respect or consideration for beastman companion and princess's friend.

Really don't get why these corruption games that try sugar coat dark side of human nature and totally gloss over how people get corrupted is beyond me.

Very good game, one of the best of its kind. The story is fun to go through, the cg is well drawn and appropriately placed, the progression is terrific, and the three characters you play as all have depth to them.
