I don't have one, i'm just saying I don't think there is any benefits to a full save right now (haven't played the game in a while though so please correct me if i'm wrong)
Current version doesn't accomplish anything for you in terms of progression, so yes, no point at this time.

I have not tried this game for about a year. At the time, it was rather lack-luster for me. I noticed there has been at least a single lengthy update per the front page. Is the game worth checking out at this time?

We had to rush the last couple of days to hit Halloween so there are some things that won't be duper polished.
Do not rush yourselves over there and also when I mean buggy I mean blue screening my computer as well as being shot to space and for some reason not being able to get malo to spawn despite having all pictures of the runes and activating it which eventually it sorted itself out after a few sessions but still an annoyance.

Send crash reports if you want anything actionable on your issues. As yes, we need to hit deadlines if we want to actually make a living.

Welp, here it is. The 'sex update'. Finally, a payoff for the gameplay loop.
Can I just mention how refreshing it is that everything just... works? Aside from your usual early development rough edges.

Only two things I ran into that were especially jank were the animation syncing during the plant animations and occasionally the jiggle physics would freak out and activate Turbo Ass Mode™.

I, for whatever reason, assumed 'friendly' status would mean the mons would... ignore you?
Not necessarily ignore, but... would be indifferent towards you? Dunno, kinda expected to be able to walk past friendly mons when they were doing whatever it is they do and not have them stop to notice that it was, in fact, me, and that I am, in fact, friendly. Like, nah nah, keep doing what you're doing, don't mind me.
Unless there's a 4th tier of familiarity that I just haven't reached (I haven't fully filled any of the familiarity meters yet).

Of course, I can see how that'd break the gameplay loop. Naturally you could get the best pictures from the best angles if you were, functionally, invisible to everybody.

Other than that... I noticed that the animations go through different 'phases' as they play out. Are there plans to give more player control during player-initiated animations? Press F to move to next phase, or something like that?

Hey so I'm glad you like the update. And yeah we were very surprised that our planning payed off with how cohesive it all is now.

1. We don't want to break the loop of needing to remain hidden mons will just be horny and cute if they see you. There will be two more states. One of you finish familiarity: this will give you a species mask that makes them think they are one of them so invisibility to that species but others will still see you as human. The second is when you complete their Monpedia, not sure what we will do here.

2. No plans to make animation phases. We are a small team after all. Going for good looking animations with a lot of variety and positions opposed to giving player control. We will be adding in clothing visibility, extra camera control, and the ability to change positions mid way. We will also modify the fade out after coming.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

So does that mean each animation that plays is one long contained animation?
I just assumed 'phases' because they usually play out as: loop > transition > loop > transition > loop > orgasm
Correct it is one animation. We have some tech to have the animation start at different times depending on various circumstances. Hence why it feels like sometimes you walk in on mons blowing wads instead of it always starting at the start.

Building it as one animation is a lot easier for us in the long run too as we can easily bug fix a single animation import instead of trying to jigsaw together 6 different imports for one animation.

Just easier to manage, to keep track of, everything like that.
