Glad you think so! The scoring stuff is a little more than just making PP visible though, took a lot of math to make sure taking photos at the right time creates the right scoring and feedback for the players. Our goal is to slow down players a little and make photo taking more intended and focused. The voice acting adds a whole lot though for sure.

I think this fixed most of my hangups on the games loop honestly. i think i only have like minor issues rather than game feely things i was sure if were solvable.
just because i had so few things that were annoying me, im just going to list them out now, because ive enjoyed every other aspect of the game so far.
hopefully some of that is helpful. im looking to buy this once it hits a point where id be satisfied even if all dev efforts where to suddenly stop, which honestly looks like its getting pretty close

An AI director to make each species behave uniquely is on the roadmap, this is a very early version of the game.

Yeah basically this. A lot of the issues we know about but we are focused on getting steam launched. The stealth stuff mentioned is also coming before steam launch.

I noticed there are bat files to run the game with dx11 and Vulkan, but what does the game run on by default?
Edit: Also there's the resolution scale slider, does 0 mean 100% and 1 mean 200% scale?
Edit 2: It seems Alt toggles walking/running but it's not in the keybinds list

Ran into a bit of a weird bug:
While taking photos of a Bunet that was standing in water, I decided to pet her and while petting I ended up holding down the interaction key long enough to trigger the Monsutra options. I selected Wild Yoga and the Bunet disappeared. Hitting the F key again took me out of the (solo) Wild Yoga animation and placed me back on dry land. When I was back on land I couldn't move my character. Holding down the camera button still brought it up, I could still upload photos, and spin in place with the mouse, but I couldn't walk anywhere. Quick traveling back to camp got me there, but I still couldn't move. I exited to the main menu and continued my save and that fixed got me moving again, but I figured I should let you know Henley.
Edit: Since I'm making this post I'll also post this: I ran into a white box rune stone while taking photos of those in v0.23.hf1.

hey i found a bug
nothing game breaking but just surprised me is all.
i got caught by a flower trap and after i held f to skip, i was absolutely LAUNCHED into the sky.
I came back down but i dont think that shouldve happened
just wanted to let ya know.

new bug found i already send the reports, if u complete de malo event and go near the event rock at night ur game will crash
