So imagine each size category working with each other as specialized. So medium and tiny work for specific animations. But if you scale that up it would mean enormous and medium could do the same animations.

We have been building an ik tool for this atm, currently it can work but it would need a bunch of tweaks to make creatures fit outside the sizes like above. But it can be done. Generally though when we add the large species to the game we will need to add about 40 to 50 new animations for sexing up the sizes below.

So the current animations should in theory work for large and medium creatures mingling. But large is a lot bigger than medium is to small.
Well, I usually don't say this but I'm actually and honestly looking forward to seeing this in practice. its going to be animation marvel if nothing else. Oh how the bugs are going to look like once the game decides that the bee is no longer small and not even medium but big. I can however not stop imagining what the facehugger animation will look like with the player being the tiny one. (or medium vs giantess)

The bee scaled up to a medium sized slot. You'll never see a facehugger animation with anything larger than tiny, simply because if a larger Mon filled that slot they would be the size of the bee.

It's not really a marvel system as the animations all use the same rig, and the animation objects just scale the rig to the slot sizes. The complexity comes from making sure all the unique mesh sizes (two medium creatures don't have the same waist or head sizes for example) work well together. It's why currently we have the creatures floating during sex. Cos the animations assume they are correct.

We are building a system right now to dynamically correct this, but it's introduced new bugs, like girls ragdolling from the hips upwards, or arms always being locked in positions.

Well, godspeed to you then. I'd shake your hand but you know where it's been. Also is girls ragdoling from initating sex a new bug? I've seen it in version 0.24 and the 25hf2. Along with spinning blowjob animation (where player rotates according to viewcamera)


Last question: are you considering unlimited camera movement? Sex camera I mean. Right now there is a limit of how close you can get it to the scene or under what angle, some scenes could be even more interesting if passing it through models at least partially was possible (or making them transparent)

We will probably take another crack at the sex camera system as its not like... the nicest? But its enough for the time being. Those other bugs should be fixed next patch.

You know what you could possibly do with the bee when it gets scaled up during threesome scenes? Work the model a little, add some extra arms, larger abdomen, maybe some regal looking poofs around the neck, and make it a Queen, turn a bug into a feature. It's just a possible fun idea. Plus it'd be a new mon that could be found inside the bee cave since y'all made it look like a hive and what's a hive without a Queen?

Can't see the difference between "We are kinda new at this so we can make mistakes" and "we can't read shit and our game experience is candy crush, and we didn't give a fuck about anything" can you? Try surfing steam for EA projects and how they development process was. Mistakes due to lack of experience is normal. But even apprentice carpenter do not make the chair with its fourth leg sticking upward.

Im pretty sure you have spent longer complaining about the tutorial then you were in the tutorial. The tutorial is fine, you just need to chill a bit.

For huge creatures when they added can they stuff small creatures fully inside them? Then walk somewhere and "birth" them back? This also may add interesting mechanic, when one of them hunts player and go is some unknown location. Then player must escape that location.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that fully-realized unbirthing and birthing mechanics are probably out of the scope of the funny photography game.

Also, i think in previous steam demo cave have been much larger. But now it small. Cave near big tree near starting location. Have been that location changed?
