My whole take on it is like this;
I don't want to purchase on steam because I dont want my real life friends knowing I bought furry porn on my steam account. I don't want to purchase on itch.io because I can't refund if its bad and/or doesn't get updated but the steam version does(yes that's a fear of mine, it has happened, even if you say it won't).
I have purchased hentai games on gog, BUT only after downloading from here and trying them out (mainly Rance and black souls).

Don't turn this into a "final originity" situation, where the dev comes to the site, didnt realize it was a "piracy site", acts smug and passive like they're better than everyone, denounces everyone who doesn't like their "updated once every 7 months" pixel indie game, and tries putting malware in downloads on the site.

Just accept that people are gonna pirate it, work with the people on here who make suggestions, and know that losing some sales in exchange for good PR and potentially decent advertising is worth it.

You can just private the game in steam.

Don't want to, steam gives a big ol notification to your friends through the "feed" that you got gifted or bought a game the second you get it now.

My point is this,

They got something good going, love pokemon snap and getting great shots, hell I plan to purchase when it gets out of early access (probably on an alt) already told some of my degen friends about it too, but they're in the same boat about not wanting to get it until its more polished.

I have been following this project for a long time now, actually bought it in GOG in the middle of 2024. I can tell you that it is worth paying for. The progress they made have been getting faster and faster. But I can assure you that the game is pretty polished as for now, obviously it needs more, but comparing it with 2022-2023 versions, it is a completely different game. I think that the best time to buy it in steam, in a more "official" way it's just to wait until there are like 2, maybe 3 more zones unlocked in the island.

You can make a new account and gift the game to it, no notification, no activity. BUT, once installed on the 2nd account it will appear on the library of your main (available to play but not bought), hide on main by right clicking and press hide. it will never show on main again. switch account on top of UI back to 2nd account and you can play just fine, private that alt account. it can be done on the same phone number and email too, no one will know.
i tested this on my own gifting a0.49$ game to my 2nd account, nothing shows up on friend activity and then gift porn game to alt account without anyone know.
if you don't want to risk then you could just make a prepaid card with 25$ or something like that and use that on alt account.
people say all the time they don't want porn game on their account and don't even try alternatives, so easy

Horrible take. But I am not surprised. Consider me not doing anything here a sign of good will, but don't praise yourself up for it. I make the game, spend time, money, stress, etc on it. I charge very little for the work. I don't give any sorts of fucks if you pirate the game, vote with your wallets and all that. It's the entitlement that gets me though.

I'm no expert on the subject but if the problem comes from a one-time notification then surely just setting your profile itself to private and buying the game then would avoid that, then you can set the game to private before changing your profile back to public/friends. I would imagine that's how that works.

Definitely not buying it now.
Will keep playing and pirating it though since it's fun.
Oh no. The predictable pirate playbook. "Dangle the threat of purchasing the game over the devs head if they call you out for being a hypocrite". I am all for people voting with their wallets and such. It's what customers rights are afterall, but that's were your right end and your shit takes begin. And you know what they say about opinions!

if dev make a game and post on this site and then publish on steam, does this mean that dev use this or upload this as a suggestion or feedback? my steam acc was limited because i never pay/buy the game. i don't want pay a game because my country currency is flop. i just like if someone gift to me a game, if it worth it.

WHAT?? I DID NOT KNOW THAT! ARE YOU LIKE MY FATHER OR SOMETHING? lol
old man said, "don't believing every smug people word, they trying to fool you." i mean i don't know if you dev of this game or not. if it yes, you should put your username into your game plus the "special thank from..." the people on this site as feedback or bug report to your game.
ps: you should put our name btw lol

Hello, may I ask if I don't understand some aspects of the game.
1) After switching from versions to other versions, do you need to start the game again to see the changes, or not?
2) Where can I take photos of a fox, an invisible man, a snake girl and a crocodile girl?
3) Where can I find the 25th record of the expedition?

13 bucks is less than you'd spend on lunch. If I were asking for 40 bucks, I could say that would be a reasonable argument. Also, just because I want to make a living from making games does not entitle you to have access to my hard work without paying for it. Don't be crazy.
$13? Damn, I feel bad now. Spent $20 on lunch the other day.

  1. Unless your friends are regularly auditing you actual financial records/have access to your Steam login, privacy isn't an issue; you can set the game as "private" and it won't show up anywhere on your account (hell you can even purchase it as private, so it never sees the light of day).
  2. The dev (Henley) has been more than chill with us here, even commendably so. I don't know where you're getting the vibe he's gonna rugpull or add malware, he's been in the threads for as long as I can remember. He's literally doing exactly what you said in that last paragraph. He does get a little sassy at times, but I think he's earned that right given we're stealing his work.
  3. The "good PR and potentially decent advertising" here is only visible to us pirates. I guess word might get around if someone's really an asshole, but most people seeing a dev's interactions here are already looking to pirate the game. We steal their work and distribute it for free; that doesn't entitle us to set expectations for the devs (besides maybe the malware thing).

I like the cut of your jib.
I'm in the boat that I found it here and bought it.
Kind of strange, could be a good thing.

Any plans to change the locomotion of MC? Can't tell about the boy, but the girl moves like a mannequin doll. Something more realistic would be nice to see.

Same, I wont buy H-games until ive tried them out. To many are just absolute trash that dont live up to screen shots. This one does live up to it and is actually kinda fun, so I got it on steam.
