I don't doubt it, but since the dev is in here, I'd prefer to add a +1 to the brightness issue to hopefully bump it up the pile. I don't blame a dev for prioritising things but in the past, I've been the only person in a small audience to complain about a motion sickness issue but because I didn't follow up, the dev thought it was no longer an issue for me until I contacted him about it again. Sometimes it's worth throwing an extra two cents into the pile, ya know?
Motion sickness? Yeah, this game gave me some of that.

I can't say this game gave me motion sickness but from the walking animation, I can see how it would trigger other people.
Yeah, there was just a combination of things, the two different types of text boxes that required you to pretty much either look straight down to just get the VN style one or flick back and forth during a conversation, possibly the brightness, character being so tall that it's disorientating, field of view...etc.

Yeah, I found the textboxes to have weird detection zones, possibly due to the small FOV, but I found I typically had to look too high or too low to see the person while talking but possibly made worse by the character's height compared to others, as you said. Likely a combination of things. Hopefully we'll see some adjustments in the future.

Initially I was skeptical, since the game uses Koikatsu models, and the way that they're ported and rendered in Unity makes the face and (most importantly) the penis blur together sometimes that it looks like an untextured, blobby mess.
But I gotta say, you do try your hardest at the presentation and the animation to avoid making it become another Renpy slop fest, and a lot of things show potential such as the aunt's basic design (especially in pajamas:BootyTime:) and the layout of the house.

Don't be ashamed of how you made the models, I've seen plenty of Koikatsu animations that most can't even recognize that they were originally made with the software with only a few adjustments to the rendering and a little more detail to the model itself, which I believe the same can be done in-engine within Unity... with some guidance, of course.
Like, I'm not saying the current models are bad or anything, but a couple edits to them could possibly improve how they looks under the light and make them closer to your vision than to look oversaturated and without much depth.
But the worse offender of is the dad, I get that his bum ass isn't supposed to be appealing, yet...

  • Due to Koikatsu sliders, his side face pretty much folds into itself and looks as flat as a cinder block
  • His yee-yee ass haircut make him look like a bitch

I do feel like even for a cuck, he deserves a better design since you do spent the prologue looking at his face.

I am not planning on keeping these models. Hopefully soon I can replace them with "my own" models :D

We know. My guess is there aren't any Family Friends in here or they're choosing to respect the dev by at least waiting out the limited period. Either until the next tier, at which point there are more people who could possibly leak anyway, or until the public release.

I know we're in a piracy forum, I'm not here to argue morals, but the dev is also here so to leak the pre-release would be pretty foolish since there's a strong chance of getting identified, and a slap in the face to him. Just have a little patience.

Wait WHAT. A new update came out? Damn I was really thinking it's going to be a super long wait like months wait based on previous comments. But seeing how another update just came out recently, I just hope the updates are that consistent. Like I understand the amount of work and time required, but I just don't want to be paying a subscription where there aren't any updates for 1-2 months. I've been there a few times where I was paying creators like $15 a month for early access, but their updates would be taking a goddamn 5+ months, which is unreasonable. Good thing I stopped that shit last year. So now I'm extremely picky on who to put my money into. I just want confirmation that this dev is capable of releasing consistent updates.

Just wait for public release which should be on the 26th or 27th.
I usually get the family friend whenever the dev release an update to check it out and if the dev usually has a consistent update and active with the community then I'll try to monthly and if I can't keep up then I just for the updates and pay for them. With this dev, I do appreciate his consistent updates and they'll try to reply to feedbacks, and I really do like how the game has been going. Update 0.4 is worth the wait for public release. I continue to look forward to what this dev will do with game.
