AFAIK they did not actually 'win'. They just threatened to lock up pocketpair in endless frivolous lawsuits and motions until they run out of money. Big companies LOVE abusing the legal system like that to prevent competition, and no non-conglomerate has the ability to face a conglomerate in that kind of contest. Rooted? You can add an rpy to enable console or add an rpy to hook something, say the "say" text and have it set money to 99999 each time anyone says something, wait until you interact with someone and save, then exit and remove the patch file. You can also use something like Titanium Backup (if rooted) and backup your "data" which might be where this Ren'Py stores saves on Android (some duplicate the saves into another folder such as Documents to persist even after APK removal at which you'd just edit that after removing the APK and then reinstall the APK).
Enable console, set the name there with
mcname="NAME". (Warning: If you don't save you'll need to do it again. If you rollback you'll "undo" the set on whichever frame you set it on. In short, load, set it, talk to someone to make sure it's changed, then save if you're happy in a NEW slot to be safe.)
And how do you open the developer console? On the PC (Windows). Unfortunately, I have no idea about that.
