Yea, your observations and thoughts mirror my own quite a bit, although my experience comes from other sides of the business. I don't really see it as a problem that has a solution. At least not a solution that is within the reach of the people who are directly involved. It would require changes in policy from credit card companies and publishing platforms, and a significant shift in public perception of the NSFW game space. Neither of those are realistically going to happen soon, if ever.

I applaud your choice in how to approach the project, and I hope it works out. Personally, I'll be grabbing the game as soon as it is available, out of sheer principle. Hopefully I'll also have fun playing it. I suspect that I will.

Please consider implementing an anal option for every scene. That way some can go anal-only, while others can go vaginal-only or anything in between.

I pay for games that let me have an anal-only playthrough.

Probably ~6 months at this point.

Classic example of building something small -> people like it -> add voice acting/music/more story content etc ->timeline gets extended.

I'm really trying to resist the urge to release it in chapters, especially since 70% of the game is already done/polished!
