Great to see the mod finally being worked on again with good progress being shown, shame about the DRM though. Hopefully someone will crack it & not put trackers in the jar file.

Honestly respectable for trying to stop minors from getting the mod, just a shame that the DRM is flawed. Even if I scrub out the rest of the ID & just show my DoB I could have easily faked it, not unrealistic to imagine a minor doing the same thing.

I refuse to give discord my phone number for verification to use your discord group so I'm (most likely) not able to see updates easily or do anything, but gl & I really hope you deliver on the mod.
(I dont know if anyone else already said this before, I am not reading roughly 5 pages of ""drama"" slop to check.)

no drm, I have to check ID by law, under the german "Jugendschutz" law aint gonna explain that shit in detail, but a simple checkbox "are you over 18" is not enough here, part of reason why ALL porn games arent available in germany on steam. If they fake what am I supposed to do, if they fake it good enough, I only have to check, validate and confirm. Aint no way you can tell if something is a fake or not, but taking that as arguement to say age checking via ID is useless is stupid aswell. The mod is gonna get leaked, nothing I can do about it, but that aint my problem then anymore, I do what I HAVE to do, nothing more. (that no drm was coming i had mentioned a few times now, over the last pages)

my main reason for not joining a discord group asking for id is i had some friend who did join a modding group that needed id and 2 months after they join, they had to deal with identity theft up 4-6 month trying to fix thing like people trying to make new bank accounts and credit cards in their names.

Which is exactly, among other similar reasons, why you don't show up IDs at all, unless is something that you truly need and also is government backed, like bank accounts, state related stuff or house goods. Also again, is this MC mod adding sex options like the Skyrim ones do? No! So asking for IDs when you don't make content that clearly surpasses the level of SexLab for Skyrim is pure BS. Cause for the latter you never need anything related to an ID at all. Just like you don't need that kind of crap to get access to something like Wild Life, and hey, the devs of that game are also German, also under German jurisdiction, restrictions, laws and stuff and they don't ask for such a thing. You only need a Patreon acc to get the paid version, and even that is something which you also can get here if you're patient enough for a backer to upload it and the devs themselves even interact with the damn community of F95, giving and receiving feedback from here.

read the law to Jugendschutz before talking about something you dont know, I HAVE to check ID, by LAW. Idc if you guys have a problem with that, you will take the leaked version anyways, so why are you all crying?

technically, it is a port since your bringing the characters from Shnu's sexmod to v1.20.1, so you are porting some of the assets, it's just you had to write most of the code yourself since you didn't have Shnu's source code to edit cause Trol didn't want to pass you a copy of it for whatever reason.

It's not a port, it's not 1:1 the same, my code, different mechanics, different content, the main base girls stay yes, that doesn't make it a port tho. As of right now, I already have my own stuff in the mod.

Yeah most content that uses ideas or concepts from previous ones, regardless if made from the ground up are considered ports unless the content is 100% original. And even those that are, if they resemble too much a previous idea, they end up being called "port/s".

Actually, it's not quite a 'port' since all the code is original and I’m adding my own content. A port usually means transferring existing code and assets from one version to another without major changes, but in this case, I’m using assets from another mod to help create something new for a newer version of Minecraft. It’s more like building a mod based on another rather than just copying everything over. So, I’d say it’s more accurate to call it a mod that incorporates elements from another rather than a direct 'port.'"
