Well im ready for Season 4, what would come next? A sequel to the epilogue of AotG? A new fantasy story? Or a scifi adventure? If he is moving Drussila to Season 5 and that game is based on his developed engine it could mean we arent getting top down games from the meantime probably.

tbh there is barely any NTR devs worth the name right now.
last year i remember watching movie "Coup!" and it had a much better NTR premise than 100% of games relesed in last few years.
Once there was great games like Lune's "Soredemo Tsuma o Ai Shiteru" but now even same studio cant live up to its former glory, with their last ntr game just falling flat.
if you can stomach ntrmaker, than i would suggets you to try "Natsuiro no Koware Mono" by Shinachiku Castella, " Armored Suit Solgante" by Gaptax and maybe "thug hero party" by U-ROOM

the problem isnt that his games are becoming longer or at the very least its not the main problem, in my opinion the problem stems from him trying to please everyone. Ive said this about other NTR artists as well but for NTRman in particular he started falling off when he tried to make "deeper" stories peak ntrman was when he wrote games and stories about the helpless cuck who couldnt do anything now he's writing to appease a seperate crowd whiletrying to retain the old and so his stuff is not as good. i think the falling off point was camp with mom extended where we got very little of the ntr and too much of the cuck getting with the friends mom or whatever and in the end it became this swapping story instead which didnt really satisfy anyone. this lead to him getting in his own head and having to take a break, i think NTRman should just go back to his roots and write peak degeneracy about stealinf from cucks who cant fight back instead of whatever this is.

first not everything needs to be to your taste funny enough ntr sells more than vanilla in quite a few places,but to answer your question its plain and simply schadenfreude enjoying the suffering of a character to bring catharsis at least it is for some of us myself included. other reasons can be the enjoyment of seeing something pure being tainted and brought down, and lastly plain and simple some people just like the porn my guy some people just wanna fap.

Ntr sells more than vanilla in quite a few places for sure, the amount of competition for vanilla is extremely high. In Japan, because stuff on Fanza are mostly generic, most NRT stuff are pushed to dlsite. And I've chatted about it with a doujin artist. a vanilla or netori artist cannot make a good netorare manga because they can't be related to the character.
Since you mention "schadenfreude enjoying the suffering of a character to bring catharsis," or " enjoyment of seeing something pure being tainted " isn't that netori, not netorare? Like you do something in return the other side perish, but NTR focus on you the one being perished, I don't think it is the same...

it can fall under either netorare or netori but its mostly associated with netorare and no netorare isnt always YOU the reader suffering unless you choose to self insert which is not something you HAVE to do. also the belief that vanilla artists cant make good netorare because they cant relate to the characters is subjective, plenty of artists make both to great success.
