Maybe I am a stupid cuck, but this puzzle is impossible, no?
5 balls are given, 4 locations to place them - but the ball in the top left corner can't be placed anywhere (as it's impossible to move it downwards), and the 2 ball pair in the small "room" is bait - only one ball can be effectively used since moving it out of the room means it can't be moved upwards.

We get 5 balls - 2 that can't be used anywhere, and that leaves us 3 balls for 4 spots?

The next two to the left (bottom) side, then the last two in the remaining two.
