The fifth alpha mission can't be started on Jon's route either. I really enjoy the game and I don't want to jump ahead with an auto-save. I really hope this bug gets fixed. I don't know if the dev is even aware of it.

Nothing happens majorly in 0.16. Told you guys the dev will probably use this as an experience then abandoned it later on for another project. (which is a common thing to do especially as a single dev)

I see it differently. I think the dev is giving his best to not solely create a scene collector but is getting too hung up with the mechanics. Also once the bubble is popped and sex scenes start happening it is actually hard to keep a good narrative but I think we are slowly coming to a point of no return where desmond needs to start getting some real action. I don't want to necessarily defend the dev as I also criticised him but I would lie to myself if I said he didn't do a good job of building up the excitement. I just really hope this doesn't get abandoned BEFORE the action because this happened to me 3 times now.

Yes, it's a bug. There's no bug in version 0.15, so you can put your save file there, complete that mission, and then put your save file back to version 0.16.

Yeah I agree, time will always be the challenge (bugs appearing more times now than before). I appreciate the dev's plot and narrative, i hope this doesn't become Home Prisoner though.

It can be slow, and a bit repetitive at times, but I actually find it a good game, not much pornographic stuff but a new update just came out so, I would say give it a go.

That's because it very much is focused on the Game aspect instead of the Adult aspect; it has some erotic or sexy shots of the girls, but most of the action is still pixelated, blurred, or obscured (no matter the POV chosen).

But every update adds more minigames, and more UI elements to interact with, a third of which functions properly or is just barebones for now (15 updates later...).

In essence, it doesn't reward you for excelling at the game part, but it still shoves it down your throat as unavoidable.

Don't get me wrong, Secret Dawn is good at being a game, but it severely under-delivers on the adult part; that's not to say it doesn't have any, but the developer's focus is clearly more game-oriented than lewd oriented.

Still worth it to play through at least once (as Eva, not so much as Jon), though.

Can we not carry saves over from v0.15?
I copied the files into the v0.16 save folder but they don't appear in the load screen.
The pre-made saves labelled End of v0.15 don't have everything unlocked that I had in v0.15.

In case anyone has the same issue, I managed to fix it by loading a pre-made save, then saving into the slot of the old save. Then I could copy the save from v0.15 across to overwrite the new one and it loaded correctly.
