Could you do it the same way the game checks the "outside the apartment" condition? I haven't looked into the custom mission code so idk if that's possible.

> I settled for the lobby since I consider it more challenging than outside
but you have to pass through the lobby twice with no coat when you leave it outside, while if you leave it in the lobby that's safer. so outside is both more evil and lets players do missions more efficiently.
To make an "outside the apartment" condition, to my knowledge, I would need to zone it to be everywhere outside. And I consider the lobby to be more challenging for two reasons:
1, When you go to pick the coat back up, the game will force you to stand still for a couple of seconds which could get you seen by the NPCs waiting for the elevator or coming into the front door.
2, If it was set to an outside zone, you could then just hide the coat behind a wall that drastically reduces the overall challenge of picking it back up.

EDIT: I might look into zoning it to be everywhere outside when I get back from work this afternoon (~5AM for me right now if that helps with time) for mission efficiency.

I ran into this bug and I managed to resolve it by disabling all the plugins (DLL) I am using except Cosplay, Uncensor and Texture Replacement. My suspicious is that it was NPC Behavior Mod that is conflicting.

When the bug occurs, the mission circle disappears. But once I disable most of my plugins, the circle stays.
Thank you so much for trying various things to help fix the bug.
I really appreciate it, and I’m sorry that many people haven’t been able to reach the story scene where your Cosplay MOD is used, due to errors in my code—especially since I was kindly allowed to use it.
If possible, I’d really appreciate a bit more help. Anyone else who is experiencing the bug is more than welcome as well.

①In an environment where the bug occurs, could you please use F9 to get the coordinates inside the fitting room along with the cosplay state, and share them with me?
②In an environment where the bug occurs, could you also let me know if any error logs are being displayed in BeplnEx?

It’s true that I hadn’t considered the possibility that NPC Behavior Mod or other mods might be conflicting and preventing the area from being displayed. However, what still puzzles me is why areas earlier in the story (for example, the checkout scene at the register) appear correctly, while only the area in the fitting room scene seems to get pushed far away or disappear entirely. (For reference, in my environment, the bug did not occur even with NPC Behavior Mod installed.)

Did you write the code for Mistake yourself, or did you use some kind of user interface?
I really want to create missions in a similar style, with dialogues and triggers, but I have no knowledge of how JSON works or of programming in general. For me, code is a real disaster
At the same time, I really want to bring my ideas to life for the entire SFM community. If there are any tools that can help with creating missions, could you please share their names?
Unfortunately, as is obvious, the V.1 mission editor/user program is not suitable for more complex missions in the .code format.
use translator, dont blame me pls~

P.S. btw i open mistake with "visual studio code" for fixing changing room error but structure of code... boy oh boy... so much difficult things for my potato brain :D
What I mainly use are the CustomMissionMOD V2 API, Notepad++, and ChatGPT.
V2 can be more complex and harder to work with, but if you’re starting now, I’d still recommend V2. It offers a lot more possibilities, including subtitle functionality.
The quickest way to turn what you want to make into something tangible is to refer to other people’s code that has a similar structure to what you’re aiming for. If you have any questions about my code, feel free to ask. And if you run into errors, asking ChatGPT will usually help you solve them.

Thank you very much for the feedback.
- i should explain that suspicion bar basically its how suspicious the hunters get as soon as they see you. i have a thing that resets their suspicion to the level of that setting
Then the setting should say "Minimum suspicion a hunter can have", not Maximum lol.

edit: some things I forgot to ask.
- Do the hunters take away from the max number of NPCs in the map? if so, some missions like the apartment ones are made easier because the hunters go up and the stairs a lot, leaving the elevator pretty unfrequented.
- hunters are pretty unfair in maps with narrow corridors like apt, so what if we had settings for minimum/maximum hunter per type of map, and split them into small (apt, conbini, shop), and other (the rest)?
