Open up wardrobe and move your clothes to your carried items space by clicking on them one at a time, then open inventory and drag the full set of clothes, one at a time, to the section of what you are wearing. Or you can click on an item and a menu will open up, then click on wear. Do this for each piece of clothing, socks, underwear, pants, shirt, shoes, etc. Then you need to move to the foyer section of your house to be able to leave and go to work. Hope that helps.

From Inventory you can also click on a clothing set to equip (wear) every item in that set, replacing whatever you had been wearing (or not wearing). You can also change what is in a set by moving items in and/or out of the worn items section and then when you are done then click the Update button on the set that you wish to revise (or you can create a new clothing set).
