.Wow. This game is brutal. This is the first time I think I lost a porn game lol. So I started the game and stress just pretty much skyrocketed. The game wants me to go to some meeting with a dr trapper but the game also wont let me go out of the house because Im too stressed. Then i get a game over.
How exactly do you manage stress? I tried talking to people on the phone or watering the plant or even coffee and that just takes off a little bit.

Well you're doing the right things. I haven't played the early game in the new version to know if the bug is back. A few versions ago the stress was getting multiplied by a higher value so you were basically max stress in no time.
Are you forcing ahead on the feminization stuff? You can voluntarily do feminizing things but last I knew in the early game it added stress until you went to your second hypnosis appointment. Once you were accepting of the things that happened stress gets easier to manage. If you are charging ahead you should slow down until a couple appointments with the doctor. Other than that call friends, drink coffee, look at chuck, play a relaxing game every day to prevent it from building to that point. Or download a twine hacker extension so you don't have to search for the variable to just adjust it down.
Hopefully I'm not leading you astray. I haven't played through the early game in a couple of versions and they made some changes since then.
Wearing too feminine clothes before the character is ready can cause stress increase. Best way to tell is if you're gaining stress just by moving between screens. For example if you try to sleep with the nightie right at the start of the game (on one of the low femininity paths) you can go to sleep with 0 stress but wakeup with a ton of it.

All of this works for stress, stress hasn't been an issue for me. On the other hand, money is almost constantly in the red. I don't make anywhere near enough to cover rent and all the other various misc. things I seem to need. The most brutal thing that happened was being at like -54 cr, but then boss said I needed to come FULLY feminized from now on and I could still buy the clothing but went to like -150 something, and the money I make is no where near enough for that, going on dates with nora, and enough to pay rent...(I actually still haven't figured out how to get bob to take me to the gym/how to access the gym, I can only think that is going to cost even more money)
The money situation is normal. To address it there's side jobs that will open up.
You just need to call Bob and meet with him twice and he'll invite you to the gym. (It also opens a way to earn money using a gloryhole)

Are the gay routes optional? I'm interested in Alex/Mrs. Antlers but I am not interested in bob/kurt. Having the rape option on, I won't care if bob forces me to do something, but all in all, I don't want to have that kind of relationship/get intimate with him more than necessary. I rather just pursue being feminized/sissified while still mostly pursuing Mrs. Antlers and Alex. Is that possible, or will I have to do all the other things with Bob and possibly Kurt? I realize I'm kinda in a niche position of where I don't mind things like futa/traps, femdom, but I still am not into guys/obviously masculine characters if that makes sense.

I have yet to play the new content, but sex with the named male characters is a choice in the players hands except for one instance where, to advance the story, at least oral is performed (Though maybe I just couldn't find a way to get certain drugs without doing so--trying to avoid spoilers). There are some random encounters with unnamed males if you have rape enabled in your settings.

Thanks for your replies, you've been super helpful o/ I don't mind the noncon stuff if its not a constant/overt thing every now and then, I just don't want to have to choose gay options all the time or be forced to actually pursue a relationship. Like I feel like mrs antlers would like to push certain aspects and things, but in truth I'd rather just go for her, herself.

yeah for the most part its optional, but during work there are a few scenes where it's non-optional, but only 2 or 3 from what I remember.
I think ive gotten stress figured out. My new difficulty is now phone calls lol. It used to work as normal. Now for example with alex when i pick the date option and then say goodbye and hang up it goes back to the phone screen asking me to pick another option. I pick the stress relief one and then it goes back to the phone screen. Ultimately I have to keep selecting the i dont really have anything to talk about option and it just keeps repeating. It used to let me go back to whatever I was doing.
