you need load a save from the disk
and are from the last build you played

cos it sounds you try to load a cookie save
a cookie save are 1 of those 8 save slots you see when you will save and load
those are only compatible if your save are near the build you try to play now
so if you try to play vers 0.7.1.2d
and your save are from vers 0.6
it will not work

You can then load from disk to retrieve that save as a file on your computer. The usual save just puts it in the browser's cache.
