Hey folks! Before I disappear into a scheduled two-week “maintenance window” (okay fine, a vacation… though I'll still do some work I expect), here’s a quick status report.
I’ve decided to refactor my workflow and script each
in-game day as its own Ren’Py file.
- Day 1: MC comes home in the evening from a vacation.
- Day 2: MC’s first day of work → evening at home with the big cliffhanger.
- Day 3: currently in progress, new character incoming.
Target velocity: ~2–3 days of gameplay per release cycle (every 2–4 months). Each day runs about
1000–1500 lines of code.

Progress Report
- Finished coding and art for the rest of Day 2 where you can decide whether or not let Ember sleep with you in your bed.
- Started writing Day 3.
New Character: Indica
Day 3 introduces Indica, who works as the
Wellbeing & Sustainability Officer at the agency. Translation: she waters the plants, judges your plastic bottle usage, and drags everyone into yoga at lunchtime. Imagine a hippie sysadmin: calm until you break her carefully balanced ecosystem.
Android port?
Looked into it, but it turns out that is more difficult than expected. My only Android device is a locked-down work phone — apparently my boss frowns on sideloading hentai-adjacent test builds. Shocking. This task remains in the backlog, tagged
[Needs Investigation].
Thanks a ton for your support so far, and for playing
Secrets in Focus! You keep my commit history alive and my coffee pot refilled.
