I really don't know, you're the first person I've heard about this with several thousands playing the game. To bypass this, you could change the start of chapter1_day1.rpy and just put a fixed name in there. Sorry

I've never really thought about it. Ember isn't set up as a virgin as I've made a reference somewhere about her past, if I didn't take that out at some point.

Ok, that's fair, but there already is a bit of variety, from the girls' chest area all the way to their proportions and age ranges, and the game's far from being completed, which means one or a few other female characters might be introduced until the story reaches its conclusion.

Stick around, keep playing the game, and see if you like how things unfold and develop in the next few updates, and only then decide if it's worth still playing it till the end or not, cuz so far, the dev does a pretty good job with the story and the characters, IMO.

I'm not big on the virgin LI porn trope, got nothing against it either, but the romance with Ember is so far so sweet and wholesome you might wanna reconsider giving her too much of a 'past' in order to avoid risking to potentially upset some of the fans of this type of romance.

To be honest, her having one or two exes before the MC shouldn't be a problem for most Ember fans, but who knows ?? Ppl already started complaining about certain more or less important things, treating this seemingly trivial topic with caution would be a smarter decision that benefits both you and the fans, is all I'm saying.

And Anaru seems like a sweet girl and great LI material. Already looking forward to clapping those sweet cheeks of hers, and I sincerely hope there's options for threeomes and at least one throuple ending.

The only thing that's not clear to me about this update was that dream scene choice at the end of it... is it supposed to be some sorta teaser for what the player should expect to get from each girl personality-wise or just harmless fap material ??

I can understand that. Ember might have had a somewhat serious relationship in the past, but she's certainly not the type to sleep around a lot.

I'm quite fond of Anaru as well, but it's hard to choose. I'm trying to make the story branches also feel different with different personality types. Although you always end up stereotyping a little bit such as Hana as the shy Korean girl, or Vanessa as the cougar milf. Those stereotypes do exist for a reason.

Was it the image or the dream dialogue that put you off?

Yes, this is mainly a love story with a mystery arc, or vice versa. That's especially true for the 4 LI's: Anaru, Blair, Ember and Hana. But with the other girls such as Lea and Vanessa, of course depending on your previous and future choices, things might be less about love and more about lust. And that comes in different forms, but nothing too extreme. Lea won't be pushed into a gangbang with 10 BBC's. But maybe mc will push her into doing or showing a bit more than she was planning to.

Some "standard vanilla" kinks like feet and a little bit of submissive/dominant behaviour will be there, but mainly focused on the non-LI girls and nothing too extreme. If you want to play a full romance path with one of the LI's, that will certainly be possible.

There are many details in the story to work out, but for now we're mainly getting to know all the characters and building up the mystery arc. But the different branches will diverge more and more and at some point difficult choices will have to be made. Plus some big 'holy shit' moments and a 'holy shit' ending are already designed and part of the overall story.

I seen a throuple is planned, from my skim absolutely love and adore Ember and Blair, so would be happy with them, but part of me wished we could make it a quad relationship, cause haevn't seen in game yet, only seen her in this thread thus far but really want Lea too, she is gorgeous and love her just from the few photos.

Just saw. Thats fine that it won't go too extreme. But I do think some light spanking could be good, something that maybe happens during doggy or over the knee or something, hopefully we can get that with some of the LI's, not just non-LI's. Like I would love a bit of spanking for Ember specifically, in a playful way, both enjoy way.
Also seen cosplay planned, wouldn't mind a cat girl dress up or even Tifa at some point. Just some suggestions.

And I just saw the 4 LI's thing, so the rest like Lea and Vanessa, etc. are non-LI's?(I could be misreading that comment from you.)
And are non-LI's mainly just for fun like throughout with not really any ending?
