Hi all,
Good and Bad news (I think)
Good news;
Downloaded and started a new game,
Stage One is a lot better. managed to get 100% first time.
(Note: Had some issues downloading)
But there appears to a missing image when choosing nightwear while changing attire.

Bad news;
However my game always crashes when I try to talk to Val in the Kitchen in the morning!
as you Need to do this to unlock most of the Stage Two events, this is not good.

Have informed Stiffman of these issues,
and I am awaiting a reply.

Can someone please help me understand this as I have no experience making a game. There is a history of the same thing happening with this game in particular. In the past I was one of the "testers". And I would run into these same crashes and bugs, and wonder to myself "is the dev testing his own game? Why isn't he experiencing this crash himself"?

When you see statements like "My friend RTPilot has helped me tremendously with testing this.", and yet here you are unable to progress to even stage 2, the question that comes to my mind is did RTPilot not really test the game at all? Did the dev still release it knowing it had game breaking bug?

I just don't get it at all and it's been happening from the very beginning. He would say how thoroughly he (and others) tested it, and then drop a game riddled with crashes. Why? How? Im genuinely curious. Is it possible that RTPilot played it smoothly with no issues? Is it possible it would work for him perfectly fine but than this happens?

Update to fix Val's Kitchen issue

I have been advised that there is another issue with Val and the kitchens scene that make this thing crash.
So I have updated it to not do this.
When testing, I didn't get it because the streamlined code was never placed.
It should now work better.
Thank you for letting me know, as I am on top of this game

I wouldn't worry about that just yet.
there appears to be a few issues with stage 2.
The "Val kitchen" seems to have been fixed,
but there seem to be a problem with trying to talk to Brynn while she's at school.
this is a major issue. (at least 5 event depend on you being able to do so)

The code they tested isn't the code that was published.

The ancient version of this before he started fixing it actually works better.

In v0.2.7.
You talk to Val. Go to the store, talk to Marla and get the lighter, then you go straight back to Val and give her the lighter.
(It is still the same day)
In v0.2.8.5.
You talk to Val. The game crashes!
In v0.2.8.5b.
You talk to Val. Go to the store, talk to Marla and get the lighter, *But time has pasted* (Val is now at the School)
You will need to go to Val and give her the lighter on the morrow.
(this part now take (at lease) two days to complete)

you will have to wait until they fix a bug that prevents you speaking to Brynn at school.
This issue is causing problem with almost all of the quests in Stage 2.

Multiple patreons have reported this issue,
It is now being looked into.

Hi all,
First of all, a warning,
I AM CRAP AT CODEING! So use at own risk!
While we await an official fix for the bug that prevents us from entering the school,
I made one of my own, which strangely seem to work, (must remember to buy lotto ticket)
It should allow you to do the "acceptedintoschool" quest.
Which in turn should allow us to unlock many more quest,and find more bugs

I think I know why Val is stuck at home,
But I have not tested it yet.
Just starting a clean game , will post Val fix if it works.

Tested my patch/ fix for "Val stuck at Home" It works!

I think the problem with this game, beyond the bugs, is that it's too redundant...the dev should exclude scenes you've already seen, the credibility of the story is at stake...and if you get stuck, a "help" button would be useful
