Hey everyone! Here are a few quick notes on this version...
  1. updated so much with the backend of the game. The quest system is complete working and done so far. It needs to be finalized and the rest of the current quests need to be put in.
  2. The gallery has been updated as well, not such a long process anymore, and that will be maintained in a better fashion. It can also now accept videos within the gallery. I am still making the videos that go inside the game for stage 1 and also the beginning of stage 2.
  3. Images have all be refined for more clarity. Upgraded from 720p to 1080p or even 2K - using AI of course.
  4. Certain smaller errors have been streamlines as well. I did not get to the error on the what'schat icon yet. That will be fixed once I get that part of the story in place.
  5. I have also added a new feature where you no longer have to listen to a 1 minute clip of the same music all the time. On the top right, you shall see a music symbol. Select the song (Out of 8) and that song plays - no matter where you are in the game, or scene. It will repeat until you change it again. (It's me playing the piano as well... so enjoy)
  6. a new UI system will be in place next. I want to tidy up the side nav where you can see where the characters are. My idea is to make it available, or not with a click of a button. Also change the way it states some things, like sleeping2, etc.
  7. I have almost completed all the renders for the boxing scenes, and the mini game for it will be available next update as well. I was also thinking of doing a cooking game for stage 1 (It counts for stage 1 anyways), the shooting game where Angela will show you how to shoot a gun, and also a photo shoot area, where you choose the character, and do a shoot. That one is much later.
  8. Lana's story starts Stage 3 - but in Stage 2.9, her story will begin a series of events for Angela and Rayne.
That's it for now. The game is also huge again (2.7GB). Pretty soon, the requirements on the game will need to be posted as well, as the game is getting huge and having major updates to it.

It's difficult to know, there are several games on this page that the same creators upload the new version after a while and there are others that depend exclusively on someone who pays for the game's Patreon or SubscribeStar to "leak" it here, as happened with version 2.8.6.

The bugs Ahchi fixed are still present and you'll need to edit those files again or use the ones attached here. There are still other bugs.

Clothingactions.rpy goes in game/stagetwo/actions

Sad. This means we can't progress further with some parts of the game. Dev even said it will be looked into earlier.
Thanks for telling. I'll wait to continue playing until this issue has been fixed. As it blocks us from progressing.
Even made my own post with error message and screenshot some time ago. Fingers crossed it will be fixed asap.

So, i think it IS fixed, but you may have to clear your install properly. Your saved games and appdata might be conflicting causing the bug to repeat even though its been fixed. Head to %appdata%/Roaming/RenPy find the secrets folder and delete it as well as the game install and do a completely fresh install. For those less computer literate, just copy %appdata%/Roaming/RenPy into your windows explorer bar.
This worked for me and i've been able to play through *mostly* bug free but most importantly ive not been stopped, nor fallen into a loop which never ends. Im finally being able to play the scenes that have been added but couldnt see.

this will OBVIOUSLY delete your save games, but potentially some of the corruption is in those as well anyhow.

I don't know what's wrong with the project's optimization, but the slides are changing very slowly. This happened before, and it happened again after the update.

Do old saves work? Given how it has been sort of like going to the dentist to get through what I have so far, I am flinching already.....

Guessing this is one to just wait until it's finished and fixed. No fun starting over and over because saves don't work :(

Have you tried the WhatsApp message with a fresh started game?
