Anyone know how to progress? I just told Mari that it was me and now I need to "wait to talk to mari" cant talk to lynn as I "need to talk to mari at work" but cant cause stuck waiting but ever since then it keeps looping the same intro text message over and over makes me think im meant to be getting a new text message?

Edit: Didn't mention but the bugfixes are installed as well.

So, i think it IS fixed, but you may have to clear your install properly. Your saved games and appdata might be conflicting causing the bug to repeat even though its been fixed. Head to %appdata%/Roaming/RenPy find the secrets folder and delete it as well as the game install and do a completely fresh install. For those less computer literate, just copy %appdata%/Roaming/RenPy into your windows explorer bar.
This worked for me and i've been able to play through *mostly* bug free but most importantly ive not been stopped, nor fallen into a loop which never ends. Im finally being able to play the scenes that have been added but couldnt see.

this will OBVIOUSLY delete your save games, but potentially some of the corruption is in those as well anyhow.

i deleted old saves downloaded the 2.8.9 latest update and installed the character and the stage two action patch but the crash when i try read the what up message still happens .Can you fix it please? .the game is gorgeous

Honestly if they author just gave us the option to just do pure visual novel it would just be so much more easier cause even on easiest difficulty the amount of repeats and not getting the events you want is frustrating.

Sad. This means we can't progress further with some parts of the game. Dev even said it will be looked into earlier.
Thanks for telling. I'll wait to continue playing until this issue has been fixed. As it blocks us from progressing.
Even made my own post with error message and screenshot some time ago. Fingers crossed it will be fixed asap.

I can't progress either. Also when Lynn comes over to the house to do homework there is no scene. The dialog shows regardless of what room you click on, but no visuals of Rayne and Lynn.

i get this too but i have a new scene with mari i choose to told her i'm not Uni and she mad at me i have skip few days already but i still get the mari still mad at rayne she need to wait do you get this scene too?

Yes. I've skipped ahead a few weeks and never get the option to talk to her again except for repeats of previous interactions. The Uni scene with Rayne and Mari was the only new content I found. I quit the game and will wait for the next update.

This game has a very good story and the characters are good. This was my first playthrough and I enjoyed it. That being said, there are quite a few bugs.

The meet Lynn and Brynn on SAT morning in the Park part, is that implemented? They are never there. Am I missing something? I keep on getting the same events and it says that for Part 1 I am 100% complete and for Part 2 I am 29% complete, but nothing new ever happens.

Yes, but there are other questlines you have to progress to get them to show up there. Do you have the bugfix patches installed?

The one that keeps tripping me up is meeting Mari at the store in the evening. You can DO it if the patches are installed, but she doesn't actually show up on the map there which means I usually forget she's there. (She's ALSO still at home at that moment - literally two places at once)

How are some of you getting beyond 95% complete part one???


It's been 95% complete part one for a while now, with nothing happening, and the hints have no hint on how to get the last 5%.

OK, so I figured out how to get 100% on stage one.

You just go around and select all the possible options, and it triggers.

It seems the player has no real choices. You MUST choose every reaction to every situation.

Also ... where is the QUIT button? (I always have to force shut the computer to turn off the game.)

Ok . . . so I found the quit button. It's at the bottom right. It's a symbol instead of words. Words would be better; otherwise it's like having to know kanji in Japanese. This square means quit, this other square means quick save . . . . where's the regular save button? Who knows? You have to learn these symbols instead of words that everyone already knows.

Getting past stage 1 is easy but progressing in stage 2 is annoying cause so many repeats and some of the scenes I need to progress just go blank
