Honestly I barely remember. It's been at least 3 and a half decades since I took someone's virginity. I can only remember two times. Both would be classified as unpleasant from a pure sexual standpoint, but on a connection level much higher. I guess it really comes down to how the people handle it. Being supportive can lead to dividends relationship wise.
