Tbh I feel like those ten CG a month (+variants) are a very fair deal when it comes to updates.
If you feel that other games get more done in one release per three months or so I'd say nothing is stopping you from checking in on SoC's release not every month, but every few months. That's what I do.
The frustration I see from a lot of people is that the game is spread too thin due to variety of sexual preferences included in the game. But hell, Arioch has a vision and he's been pulling it off so far.
If you actually took the amount of content in the game and stuck it end to end, you'd have maybe 45 minutes to an hour of actual content without the fluff of the world map and how random things can be.
I disagree. There is a ton of content of all kinds. I don't think there is a western porn game with a bigger unique cg count. The variety in events is also pretty neat.
I do agree with this and the previous comment, the game is excruciatingly slow and think that developers are making game to satisfy their creative outlet and ignoring the end users i.e. Us.
This last string of thought is exactly what keeping me from being their Patron.
You are not the end user if you're not a Patron, at least five dollar tier even (or which tier was it that allows for voting?). As of this release there is no public version anymore, why should anyone even consider the opinions of somebody who won't pay for the game?
( i mean a they can do 3 D models built a scene out of it and then render each frame using AI software to give a sketch look and feel )
Everything that does it looks like trash. There are enough daz3d games out there.
and coding i believe isn't time consuming
To be completely real with you: MDN took 200$ PER CHARACTER, and that was when the game was starting. Most of the cgs have two, and some have more (one of the latest is an orc orgy), plus I imagine his rate went up as he moved up in life. With 10 cgs per month that is a minimum of 2k dollars, and the maximum I do not even want to imagine. Plus they seem to pay coders, writers, background artists, etc. Patreon takes their cut as well. I do not know the exact numbers but it's hard for me to imagine the game as highly profitable the way it's currently operating.
I wouldn't consider the event release as slow either, seeing as some of the team is busy redoing the entire mechanical side of things and it seems that some events were written/had cgs ordered but can't be added yet due to story progression or other factors.
I seriously doubt it would be reasonable to expect more content each month with staff this small.
The only game I know that went as big and had more updates was Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena, and even then Black Lilith are not that small of a studio and have decades of experience behind them.
