Honestly, as good as all the porn is,the thing that really hooks me is the story and feelings the characters have. I legit care about these characters and what is happening to them. I like the castle inhabitants and their little stories, and I am amazed by the scope of emotion the devs gets in the sieges. I go fro elated the plan worked to legit horrified on a visceral level at the actions of the twins. Nice job guys!

Totally agree. The castle inhabitants have become more and more interesting Shaya, X'zaratl and Cliohna in particular and the way Rowan's relationship with them grows. Outside of it Delane and those in Rastedel are also interesting and I like Tarish. It's great it reminds me of Last Sovereign in that regard just gets you invested. I'd love to see more with Tarish actually she feels like someone that'd get on well with Rowan, they've both always been looked down upon in their societies but had the ability and subterfuge to rise to prominence but there's not much with her.

The twins are well written, it's funny just how much you want Rowan to turn the tables on them :). Though I suppose that could change in the second part if Rowan's relationship with one or both develops past antagonism.

- I'm getting an exception error whenever I use the main side-menu to try and go back to Rowan's quarters. Rolling back takes me back. If I try and go manually it works fine. Should I post the text from the error? (I'm using the 2.65 version from the Nopy download, no mods installed)
Confirmed and reported to the programming team, good job.

- Does the game use hidden stats? I ask because I noticed in the 'scene's list' guide it talks about needing X points of relationship (or less than), but these particular stats I can't seem to find. So either I'm blind, or they are hidden, or been removed since the guide written up?
Yes, it does.

- I know this is early game, but is there any reason to demolish villages in the start? Early on there's 3 easy(ish) to get to villages, capture is best right? Also, do destroyed villages rebuild, or gone forever?
Destroying villages provides most up-front income which can be used to snowball by constructing other buildings, and also rewards the players with slaves, which will grow more valuable with the mechanics update.

I've been looking to balance all three (four) options, so they each offer good rewards depending on your playstyle.

- Is there any point to trying to uncover the whole map? Other than to try and trigger random events?
No.

- On this point, do we ever get to choose where on a map we spawn? Cuz if there's a reason to uncover the map... even with the +1 movement study, it would take weeks to uncover some places due to the 2-3 movement cost.
You can spawn either on a explored portal or on recall hex.

The current UI only supports three portals, but I was looking making a better portal UI, which might also result in increasing the number of them.

- How do you enable jobs such as Maid or working in the Tavern? Do these require a certain time to have passed? Or something else?
Should be available from the start if you have the buildings.

You pick job on the lower right corner of the castle UI. You can't miss it.

- Since we're scouting and supposedly recording what we see & find, why can we not see a map of our travels back in the castle? The only weay to see where we have been is to start the exploration... and then we're limited by vision and movement points. Unless this is also something I've not found?
Because reasons.

We'll do something about it.

Hey man, I hate that the comments here are all about just the wife getting fucked by others.... but they are just comments.

In the game, NTR, sharing, cheating, cucking, swinging etc.....
ITS ALL avoidable. It does not happen in the background. Its not just skiped with a black screen. Its also never implied
Yeah you can do that but then you dont have a game. MC is designed as a spineless cuck that will be dominated. Majority of the content is for that.

My dream ending is Rowan and Alexia take over the castle, but become quasi demons themselves, and live happily ever after with all their weird fuckbuddies who all love each other. The End

Stop lying when you clearly haven't played the game.

It's kinda weird how many times I've seen comments like that the last few years. The majority of content is Rowan fucking other people and that's with NTR turned on and that's true even if you consider threesomes with Liurial, X'zaratl and Greyhide as cuckolding. That's not to mention you literally control Alexia, how can you be cucked when you control both how does one cuck oneself. So if they're finding NTR content after NTR content....

I mean the only options are they're cucks in denial or haven't played it. A lot of people have accidental outed themselves as cucks in this threads existence.

It is strange that of all the fetishes, "Infidelity Adjacent" fetishes are the ones that people seem most mad on the internet about. Personally, I like swinging and open relationship type shenanigans in my p0rnz as I find them pervertedly romantic (imagine your sig other fucks a bevy of other people, but always comes back to you because they love you? awww) but I'm not going to complain that most games don't cater to this specific niche of mine. People who complain ITT are peak whiners, because you have absolute control over the direction of the relationships.

No i don't care about the attention. What i don't understand is why you are not accepting the fact that Rowan is a weak character that is dominated by Andras and Jezera since the beginning. Look at the scenes for god's sake. Yeah there are some scenes that Rowan has sex with others but that is not the point. Rowan is a sub MC. Did Rowan do anything against them other than taking a beating?

Because they have his wife hostage and are literal magical inhumans. Rowan is only a sub if YOU make him such. If nuance upsets you, maybe go play something else

I mean, he's not wrong about the spineless bit. This game's been developed for i don't know how many years and the dude has yet to even try and physically trip Mary or Gary. I'm actually out here praying for Guts to swordfully invade this story, 'cause any revenge carried out by Rowan (in 5 years time) will most likely be short and limp.

To be fair to your point, the degree with which the twins cause suffering, cruelty, and devastation does make me worry about how the conclusion to such a story could be satisfying.

It seems highly questionable to use real-world development time to comment on plot progression, it hasn't been years in-game.

Furthermore, I think you're confusing stupidity with courage. Trying to challenge the Twins physically would be extremely stupid, even if he could take them he couldn't take all their minions. Also, they have his wife and thus he has even more reason to not throw his life away. Rowan just isn't the kind of hero who does this, he's not a Hercules (or Guts) who can just scythe through people with no problem. He relies on cunning and guile, which is why when we get an opportunity to betray them it will involve that.

Ultimately if you want a power fantasy where the hero immediately kicks the asses of the people who wrong him Seeds of Chaos isn't the game for you. Which is quite good, what we have is far more unique than that kind of narrative.

it's a slave game not really sure about the unique game part though. note that i didn't say its bad but yeah wouldn't really call it unique.
