I can't wait till the revenge arc starts. I'm already building my hit list for when Rowan fights back.

Orcs = Needs to be genocided. ALL of them.
Goblins = The ones that participated in the sack of Rastedel will have to be executed. Cla-Min and other peaceful merchant clans can be spared then utilized for the war effort against the Twins. Hopefully a temporary alliance with the goblin princess or Tue-Row can be arranged as well.
Cubi = Needs a culling for good measure. I don't think the succubi will make good allies as they are prone to lying and are unpredictable. Xzaratl seems okay but her ties with Jezera makes sparing her dubious. Her being obsessed with Rowan + Alexia relationship is also sus af. Won't be surprised if she has something to do with the couple having problems conceiving.
Fae = Whitescar/Heartsong faction will probably be aligned with the human cause. Arzyl/Midnight court has to be wiped out and luckily, the former Fae faction is already inclined to do so.
Human nobility = I'm itching to take out Werden but somehow I feel like he knows more than he is letting on. Will need to ally with the surviving nobility for now but many of them will have to be replaced/imprisoned after the war. Need to leverage Juliet, Helayna, Crevette, and Delane (if we can somehow reverse her transformation into a BDSM hell doll) to rally the nobility and form a united human front against the demons. Definitely need Marianne and the Protheans as well but they will probably turn on us once the demonic threat is eliminated to retain their control on Rosaria. God I'm still so pissed for what the Twins and that chaos prophet did to Delane :KEK:
Other characters = Clionha, Greyhide, Cla-Min, Nasim, Liurial, and Draith can probably be used against the Twins due to poor treatment and/or their personal motivations. The rest of the secondary Bloodmeen characters I'm not so sure about. Especially Shay/her spies loyalty to Jezera and Skordred due to Bloodmeen itself being his prized creation. Ameraine is obviously dangerous and is not trustworthy given her incessant scheming and shapeshifting ability so it won't be surprising if she tries to usurp power from the Twins which can maybe turn her into a wildcard against them.
Twins = The ultimate goal. They HAVE to be humiliated first before execution. Making sure it's as PAINFUL AND SLOW as possible!! :KEK:
I'm curious about what will sabotage path will lead into. Will it end with Rowan imprisoned or the story continue as it is now? Will the sabotage path be the bad ending of the first act?

Some people pointed out that the whole story depends on the twins being incompetent morons/bratty children for the story to be able to move. As characters they work, even if i myself am not the biggest fan of Adras, but they sure as hell don't work as the main enemies of 3 games.

They are stuck in a limbo where they cannot develop too much because if they become competent they don't need Rowan, but as they are they would at best be the prologue villains that get defeated to let the real threat arrive.
In act 1 Rowan already has the loyalty of some very important people, the goblins that fill the coffers with money, the one guy making all the equipment, the mistress of the sucubus and the guy that knows how to get the beasts to obey, and the starting of loyalty from the strongest mage on the castle, the most loyal servant of the previous demon king saying he is the true strength behind the twins, a somewhat friendship with the fey emissaries and the affection of the spy mistress.

Now comparing with the twins.
Both are spoiled kids that act like it and are not immediately defeated because of natural ability and not capability, Adras survives his battles not due to him being a good strategist or warrior ,but because he, being a half demon, is super strong and regenerates faster than he can get his face smashed in, and Jezera thinks she is a master spy mistress and corrupter, but if not for her lovers capabilities and her daddy's name she would be not better than your average noble girl putting afrodisiacs in food

I imagine something is going to happen to shake the status quo, but so far they are somewhat one note, Adras has the mother of all daddy issues and a superiority inferiority complex with Rowan. The effort he put in trying to prove himself the better man makes me believe his insecurities are real and will be used against him.

Jezera on the other side shows time and time again she under estimates Rowans abilities to run circles around her, and over estimates her own, if not for her whips magic she would be dead in the prologue, and the way its set up now she is one scene of Rowan discovering more about the neclaces than her from becoming the one having the tables turned
I don't think most of the named Castle staff are ready to betray the twins at the end of Act 1. Don't get me wrong, I think they like Rowan (if you get good ends to their routes) But if Rowan were to call for a coupe I don't think they would be willing to join in.

Just like even if my boss is an incompetent jerk, I'm probably not going to quite when he unfairly fires one of my coworkers. Why? Because my job is providing me with more than solidarity with my coworker will.

Sure they might all agree that Rowan would be a better leader than the twins at this point, but would he support their interests/agendas? Very few of them are helping the twins out of the badness of their hearts. They are getting something out of it. And unless Rowan proves that he will match or beat the twins' offers why would they support him taking over regardless of how much more competent Rowan might be.

Hero Rowan would absolutely shut almost every benefit they are currently receiving down if he were in charge. While Overlord Rowan hasn't had the opportunity to make such offers yet; even if he did it would be a risk whether or not he could make good on it. If they are already getting what they want right now, why risk the consequences of a fail coupe?

I think that if this is the direction the game is going he would not be able to get the entire castle staff on side, but rather play them against each other based on the fact that some of the staff are at cross purposes. The goblins would be happy with peaceful trading while the orcs only want war and plunder, or something like that. So the game would make you choose between factions and Rolan would need to choose which one would make better allies, the cubi or the fey creatures etc. It would kind of be the opposite of what you did in the early game trying to get them to work together. Now that I put it like that, it seems a mite depressing.

The way I see the Overlord path
a) Rowan will have to prove to everyone that they are winning and functioning entirely because of him. That is already happening in Act1
b) Rowan will need to be able to provide the benefits unique to the Twins. So he needs to be able to control the portal network and he needs to have authority and the respect of allies and the army. The portal part seems like a tough cookie to crack. It intersects heavily with the fey story for one. As for authority and respect, I think he has it from the goblins and he is building it with the orcs (Especially e.g. in the Andras Rowan arc) but there is also the element of the Twins immediately getting certain allies (or at least an audience for an alliance to be formed) by virtue of who their father is.
c) Rowan will need a low risk plan to take down the twins. He will need to demonstrate that the coup can actually be successful. Cause right now unless Cliohna can work magic to achieve that, no one in that castly can kill Andras and most of them would probably struggle to kill Jezera.

Now how would (c) and possibly (b) be achievable? In an Overlord path I think it's by the grace of Kharos himself. I think the god will choose Rowan over the Twins. On a Heroic path I assume it would require Rowan getting the support of the other five heroes, particularly Deionara (sp?)

Anyone able to play the current update with JoiPlay? And if so, which JoiPlay version, as well as Ren'py plugin, are you using for it?

I used to be able to play it, but several updates ago it seems to fail on launch no matter what plugin version i have tried.

I have the same issue, so I'm using the Android version these days.

Can I vote for a crash out option? Where Rowan just finally says "fuck the world!" and takes life by the gonads? Gain some mystic mojo power and usurp the twins. Kill or fuck em, no matter. It's not my cup of latte. But I'd even be willing to drudge through the whole Andras + Alexia NTR, as a catalyst for his great postal moment. The final betrayal making him snap, after trying to be a good man in a bad situation. Give everyone the option to fall in line or get fucked. Try to conquer the world, not as a mastermind lackey. But as the head honcho swinging the big dick himself. Conquering the lands as you meet all the people who screwed you over or didn't care much for you. Giving them the biggest "No, I am your father" type reveal. As they learn the big bad that's been bending them over, no lube. Is the great fallen hero Rowan. Maybe the classic hood to face reveal, or a mask of sorts

.....yes I know a lot of this probably ain't feasible. I'm just tossing in shit that sounds cool. But fuck it! Everyone else saying what they want to see.
From what i can see, it is possible that this will be an option, rowan either need a power up by chaos magic or an powerfull ally, we can see this like a posibility, there are hints.

Sooo, you want rowan to eliminate all the characters that are too inclined to chaos and corruption and punish the nobility while you are at it. I can see the appeal to this, since it is what rowan, if he deny all the temptation and corruptions in the choices he make, would like to do lore wise, however that route is not for me, i want a benevolent despot or ¨Lawfull evil¨ Overlord take over with the help of chaos magic. Your path is lame but it is the most morally correct.

Crazy how many directions the story can take... because those are just SOME routes... and I feel there are so many more possible directions.
I like that but I also understand it may be too much work for future Arcs. I wouldn't be mad if some of those branches get merged keeping slight text variances to make it feel natural.

I think it would be better to develop just 3 paths, and in each of these paths there can be small variations depending of your choices, for example, the image that i had share before show 3 choices, wich are petty much 3 paths that will follow through ACT II, if for example, i take the ¨Take control¨ path, i can decide how much amoral my character is or how much chaos and destruction i am willing to inflict.

It is a very long shot, but one could imagine if Rowan would become the host of a sentient chaos entity that is a reflection of his desires.
