Then I guess I have some waiting to do. Wake me when you need me...We've seen that they take around 3 updates for each pair of arcs. Lurial and X will hopefully be completed next month, and then we still have like 5 or 6 arcs. That's around 6 updates from next update, so if each update takes 2 months that's a total of 2 years. Yes, 2 years to complete arc 1 if we keep this pace.
As the devs recognised, there has been a moment in the development of the game where things were thrown in without a clear plan and they rushed towards the conclusion neglecting the individual character arcs. But it's already been some time that they corrected course very clearly and are working on each character to give them a meaning without the game and the story, which is more than many other games do.Agree. multiple characters and events are enjoyable but i fear this level of amount of characters may has massively affected the efficiency of any sophisticated plot design.
Updates are the last Sunday of every other month. Next update is May 29th.Wherelamboupdate?
And if for some reason, you leave for a time by "X" reason and when you returned the game go final stage without you can reach to see when while you despair because you forgot the game's name?... No movement on it.haven't touched this in a minute, how far along is the cliohna arc
Writing and artwork take time.I don't why this game is taking so long to finish, it's not like it's some technical marvel it's like every other rpg maker henati game
It take hours or a days to prepare a feast, but it only minutes to eat it, and similarly it takes a long time(years) to make new stories and art while a few minutes or hours to enjoy the game.I don't why this game is taking so long to finish, it's not like it's some technical marvel it's like every other rpg maker henati game
It's taking a while for the same reason every independent, poorly funded game takes a long time: not enough people. As ridiculous as the amount of cash some of these projects make around here may be, they don't pull in anywhere near enough to fund an actual team of experienced game designers and developers. So you've got a couple of artists, maybe a composer, a couple of writers, a few coders at best... and many of them may wear multiple hats. This is a game made by a team of amateurs, working on money that is not necessarily enough for all of them to work on the project full time, doing work they're not necessarily suited for because that's just how things work on projects like this.I don't why this game is taking so long to finish, it's not like it's some technical marvel it's like every other rpg maker henati game
I'm always surprised how little SoC makes compared to its contemporaries. It's taking a while for the same reason every independent, poorly funded game takes a long time: not enough people.
