The story is good, but not so good that you have to wait a decade, and it's already been in development for almost a decade just to finish 1 act, although of course that's just my opinion, it's obvious that many people will continue to follow this game for 10 years or more.

Welp was excited to play this but then I heard some bs about this game being in act 1 after eight years of development? Get your money devs but I ain't following this shit until I'm 40.

It should arrive automatically after a set number of weeks unless you're playing on the Patreon/Censored version. Edit: That is to say, you can start flirting with/interacting with them after you go and find them and their amulet in the woods. Wearing it may help.

How much army managment is there in this game? A world conquest game with RPG and strategy mechanics and sex sounds great. But for a game that has been worked on since 2016 which is 7 years, how far off of being done is it? like how much can you conquer?

You can conquer the starting province but you could conquer that for many years now. There hasn't been any forward movement for a fairly long time. Don't get me wrong, they are working, giving more options, fleshing out existing routes or reworking parts that were lower quality but Rastedel, the province capital and I assume the final event of the first arc, has been done since mid 2020 (though imo it lacks a proper epilogue).

At this point they are slowly fleshing out the Astarte battle, adding choices and sex scenes as rewards for following the different routes which is the penultimate battle of the arc. They are also working on Goblin recruitment which is more politics than army building which is an additional option to the orcs (supposedly the easier option? ) And also fleshing out the last few NPC arcs; I think what is left there is the final Andras NTR event, a few more Fey events and whatever is happening with Helayna (where I've lost track of the routes tbh).
While I'd rather they move on, I do think that after the denouement of the Rastedel battle and before moving to the next arc there needs to be a proper epilogue with a) more lore exposition and b) rewards for following routes in the form of sex scenes, probably with Alexia, Andras and Jezera respectively and at least a couple of variants for each of those. Also the Rastedel battle does to give Rowan more agency

astarte already dose that for jezara. depending how well you do on management side you can unlock options for sex with jezara.
