I'm curious how they hit the finish line with this one.
CoC2 has a bunch of problems, but one of the things I'd say it's done well so far is putting a solid divide between the corrupt and pure playthroughs. If you go pure you've got paths to either try to redeem Kas, or put her down and save everyone. If you go corrupt you've got paths to join up with Kas, or take it all for yourself. I can see how all of these will progress going into the end of the game.
You've also still got tons of content for both paths. Companions are largely pure and have tons of content, lots of people in that world are just generally horny, the trigger between the two seems to be more consent/non consent which means both paths have tons of actual content. But you've still got stuff like leaving the corruption intact or fixing/healing it.
Savin has also talked recently about how he's pretty confident in finishing off the main story by end of 25/early 26, and I can see them reaching that. Salamander City will probably hit 25, and then it's just pushing to the finish line.
With Seeds of Chaos I'm kinda generally unsure how they stick that landing. They've talked about splitting into 2? or 3? total games to finish the storyline. But I can only really see a Dom Jez/Andras or submit to them path right now, both of which would be corrupt. Any storyline that veers into "pure" and taking out Jez/Andras would quickly overwhelm the dev team with having to figure out how to write two fully different storylines.
Let alone how/where they end this story and keep all the various paths aligned going into a 2 or 3.
