Consider this.
You're a porn writer. You are looking for a job. You get a choice to either write for:
1. A game with minimal plot and a MC with pretty vague personality, where you have full creative control over what to write.
2. A game with strong lore, a MC with a backstory and several states (Different corruption values, different lore values, different motivations for joining the twins, different attitudes towards his wife), AND to write for any character you need to read roughly 5 to 8 previous events in their storyline, where you have to continue said storyline, AND your work is constantly reviewed, and, in the initial stages more often than not, gets sent back for rewrites.
It's doable, we got people into the team, and I was very happy with their work. I got some much needed help for the field battle at Astarte, they added new events for X'zaratl and Jezera that got positive reviews, but for various reasons they are not available at the moment.
Obviously I can't claim we did everything right and it just magically didn't work out. Mistakes were made, lessons were learned. For now, it's just powering though to finish of act 1.
