well the dev did reply on this thread a few days ago so I think he is okay so nothing bad happened. So no need to worry yet

Yes, I'm still working on it daily.
The update is big (more in terms of branching than length, sadly), and I've been less productive than usual during this dev cycle, as I felt that I was starting to burn out so I decided to pace myself more sparingly.

I plan to estimate how much work is left and post about it on my Patreon soon, but it will still be at least another month before Chapter 8 is done.

If you're experiencing a crash when launching the game, then this fix helped several people:
"If anyone is stuck in language selection, you can bypass this by opening script.rpy and delete --> jump languange_chooser under label splashscreen"

Otherwise, the issue could be with a mod.

Hey all, since it seems like Zinacke is busy or otherwise not able to update the current mod. I've decided to pick up the mod and update it for v0.7.1.

As a side note, since I've changed how the scripts for the chapters are, I'm not 100% positive that it will work with old saves. But so far it seems in my testing, it only throws you a few lines backwards from where the original save was made.

Hope you enjoy the mod and as always if there's any issues or something you think is missing, just throw me a DM or reply to this post.

Did you follow the install instructions? You have to delete the chapters folder inside of the game folder before copying the mod into the game?

Finally got around to playing the latest update.

1. It was kinda strange to get offered a Fleur scene and not a Susan scene despite having chosen the mom whenever possible before. It's Samantha's kidnapping path, if that's important. I hope Present!Susan I saw earlier won't get replaced with Present!Fleur
2. Elena is awesome… But turning her down in Julia's favour in the Present is gonna be easier than I thought. The MC will have betrayed her twice by that point, I just think that ship has sailed. However, now I do agree with him that he should do something before proposing to Julia: he must ask Elena for forgiveness. Still, I'm glad that the Saving Sex kept her from getting kidnapped and groped. Also, Seb is great; I wouldn't go that far to fix my friend's messes. I wonder how he feels on Elena's kidnapping path
3. Breaking Mikaela's heart was tough… But my MC wanted to get exclusive with Elena at that point in time. On the plus side, Jeremy became friendly with the MC the moment they were no longer competitors. He was probably watching them from some dark corner .
4. With Joseph having not one but two accomplices, them being onto the MC, and the police being quite sweet with Joseph, I'm just clueless how the main gang is gonna make it in one piece and Susan's family keeps the hotel. The only way I see everything going well is Peter pulling a deus ex machina.
5. The MC and Brianna share a lot in common. They're both brave but dumb
