You really shouldn't be surprised considering:
That's what, 15%? When 85% of NSFW scenes are non-MC sex it is only natural for players to feel like they're playing some kind of voyeur or NTR game, regardless of technical definitions. Also, F95's definition of voyeurism is: "Spying on people engaged in sexual behavior including stripping." so I think it does fit.
I completely understand. What’s interesting is that while the players who enjoy the game don’t view it as NTR or Voyeurism, those who dislike it cite those exact tags as the reason. It’s a divisive point, but all I can say is that those vibes were never my intention—and frankly, I think fans of NTR or Voyeurism would actually be disappointed by the content.
I enjoy the variety of scenarios a fantasy world allows, such as scenes involving orcs, goblins, or monsters. From a storytelling perspective, forcing the MC into every one of those encounters feels limiting. If I had to define the target audience, it would be fans of fantasy non-con stories who prefer not to play as a "cuck" or a rapist MC. In Chapter 1, Anno serves primarily as a mechanic to move the player between scenes; he has all the sexual encounters he wants and passes on the ones he doesn't, so he never really exhibits 'sexual' frustration in the story.
I definitely plan to include more MC-focused scenes moving forward (If you beat Chapter 1 you can see where the story is going). That said I will maintain a variety in scenes with different character and monsters, I'll just try and be more conscious of the MC’s placement.
One challenge for me is that I don’t personally get those NTR vibes from the game, so it's hard to write them out in a way that satisfies everyone. Specific examples from players really help. For instance, in v1.0, Anno originally witnessed the assault on Fawn. Once that was pointed out, I simply rewrote it so the scene happens before he arrives. I’m more than happy to make changes like that since having the MC in close proximity to those scenes isn't important to me. If removing him makes the scenes feel less like NTR or Voyeurism, I'll do it.
Also, thanks for sharing the F95 definition of Voyeurism. It’s different from what I found on Google. I agree it fits the Sophia "hands" scene since Anno is 'unintentionally' spying there. It might also apply to the Millie/Mother scene, though "spying" feels like a strong word since he isn't seeking it out or watching for enjoyment. In fact, he is looking for a way to stop it from happening. A comparison I’d make is that if the police were to watch evidence of an assault for a case, I'm not sure I'd classify that as "spying."
