The upcoming version 0.3 will include new adult scenes. To prepare for this update and comply with platform guidelines, I’ve revised the game and removed incest-related content.

Sabley i read ur problem with the tag thing and i dont know if this can be of help but a chinese game with lots of fanservice got censored and to deal with it while keeping the fanservice they told player to change a variable from an archive to uncensor it that way they keep selling a game that follows the rules while player can get the original content

so... where is the new content for v0.20? i just played it and it's the same exact game.. the changelog says there's new adult scenes and the day progresses one more day. but what i just played was the demo.. except instead of sister it says friend. no further progression, and no more scenes than were in the demo..... did you release the wrong build here? if those changes are only for the patreon version or something it should at least say that in the changelog uploaded here... but then i wonder. is there anything different in the free version except the incest content removal?

Yes, there will be a new version. I had to remove the incest content in version 0.2, which required me to reupload the game. Originally, I was planning to release version 0.3 yesterday or today, but due to these issues, I had to revise the game and make new announcements. I still plan to release version 0.3 in the coming days. However, I don’t want to crowd the “Latest Updates” section on F95Zone again right away, so I’ll wait around 4–5 days before posting.

Does it still have incest content, or is it one of that cases in which it's not really removed and it ends up as a "trap" for those who are not into it?
I fully love yanderes, but it's somewhat easy to spoil it for me. For example, to a point, I can even tolerate big breasts and all (I prefer them flat (and non loli!)), but incest is one of the things that makes my yandere fetish go from a full turn on (and a top tier one) to a turn off, and as a result, this is my first time checking this thread.
Obviously, it would be cool if the game had both options to please all, but my hypocrisy has limits, and I understand that the dev wants to focus on what they like and all, and just trying to follow a sites rules while still putting way too many things/clues/signal/whatever to please those who like what's "not ok" may be the way for them to go.

Yep, first its not morally right to bang your relatives cause of blood relations and incest-related pregnancies has a higher chance in your offspring developing unwanted complications. This is not just bad look for you but may also screw up the future of these children due to incomplete development goals and shitty social life.
But if we're talking about fictional works such as fan fictions, visual novels, and games. Then I think its ok. I follow this rule of "What stays in fiction, should be kept in fiction." I don't really mind if something immoral is portrayed in these fictional works as long as you can differentiate what is allowable in fiction to real life.
So those fuckers in collective shout, are censoring these games because they can't differentiate fiction from real life.

Yeah, removing the incest from this game outright would not have been my move. Without it, it's just another yandere game. Maybe a good middle ground would be adjustable relationships? That's how a lot of games with similar kinks are able to skirt the rules a bit, but I'm not sure if that's possible in Unity

I get what you’re saying, and honestly, I agree to some extent the original concept definitely stood out more with the taboo theme. But the reality is, making a game with explicit incest elements today basically kills any chance of monetization. You can spend months working on a game and end up with zero return, or even a loss.
If you know of any recent game that’s still making money while openly using incest themes, I’d be genuinely curious to check it out because as far as I’ve seen, platforms either ban them or cut off payment entirely.
This situation isn’t really about game design anymore. It’s the result of stricter platform rules, pressure from payment processors, and unfortunately, decision-makers who can’t (or won’t) separate fiction from reality. So instead of risking the whole project, I had to make some changes to keep it alive...
I honestly love the concept of the game however you really need to consider allowing the players to re-key bind the controls to better suit the players game style as the below settings do not work for most people. WASD suck for those whom are unable to use that set up. Will not go into details about those reasons. Please consider adding the ability to adjust the key binds. Thanks for reading.
